Really nice hostel, great location and they helped organise a fantastic boat tour of Cat Ba island. Really nice breakfasts as well. Quiet when we were there

Super nice staff and nice room - good value for money

Great place to stay if you want peace and quiet. Room was spacious and great a/c and fan. Not really any socializing going on but kind of expected with all private rooms. Gem is really sweet and will help you book tours!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Gem was very lovely and welcoming and gave us lots of great recommendations for our time in Cat Ba. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was really good too. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a private room and it was absolutely perfect! The host is super friendly, responsive and can help you with everything. The room was super clean and if you want, you can always ask them to clean it or get new towels if you're staying for a longer time. Location is great, calm, but close to everything. Breakfast was tasty. This hostel is amazing value for money! Happily recommended!

Very friendly hosts - Gem and her family are doing a wonderful job. Even before arriving you get a lot of information about the hostel and things to do in Cat Ba. The hostel is more a hotel, so very relaxing, calm and perfect if you want to be on your own. It is a very quite area especially as the hostel is not on the main street. My room was super spacious and very tidy. I had a wonderful time and it was also super easy to extend for one night.

Lovely clean hostel in a great location with an amazing owner who was so helpful throughout our stay with anything we needed. Not the most social hostel, but footsteps away from other hostels, restaurants and bars so an ideal spot to relax but be close to everything.

Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamer wordt indien gewenst iedere dag schoongemaakt. Ze regeld ook van alles. Heb hier heerlijk verbleven.

I rarely have a hostel like this. It was perfect: really clean, with hot water, a coffee and tea machine, a great solo room, and a delicious breakfast. The best part was the woman in charge. She spoke excellent English, gave great tips, organised lots of activities and buses, and had perfect laundry. She was also very reactive when I sent her messages and took care of everything else. All you had to do was pay at the end. The relationship was based on trust and kindness. I highly recommend !!

This is a hostel but it’s more of a hotel by the great standard of the room. It was spacious clean and comfy bed. The owner was really friendly and would offer help if needed/ recommendations of tours. Good location in central to town. Quiet at night but it is next to a school so a little loud in the morning but not a problem for us. I would defo recommend.

Super great service! The owner gave very helpful tips for exploring Cat Ba. The motorbike rental was cheap and very convenient, and the free breakfast and snacks and pool table were a nice perk

Comfortable private room with a nice free breakfast ! This hostel is very well located in Cat ba Town and a big thanks again to the lady in charge of running the hostel ! She is lovely and she always responds present to book us a last minute tour or transfer to another city.
