Flexi Lodge and Hostel by The Sea

all in all it was ok. There were two guys at the reception, the young one was very nice, but the old one (like a grandpa) was really weird and creepy, one day we showed us a fish (so random), and then he went to shower in our shower early in the morning when we were still sleeping (we saw it though, we were in a 4 bed dorm, but i cannot Imagine he hasn't got his own shower...)

It’s a good place if you just arrived and/ or about to leave Sri Lanka. It’s calm, simple and gentle. A beautiful beach with and calm ocean is straight in the backyard. Prefect to restore your energies before you continue. I will definitely will com back before I leave again:)

Für eine Nacht okay, aber die Matratzen sind sehr dünn und dementsprechend ist’s sehr hart, Bad aber gut und alles sehr sauber. Liegt direkt am Strand, was sehr schön ist, hat aber keinen sehr sozialen Charakter…

This hostel is perfect for a quick stopover coming to/from the airport. It is right on the beach (which has amazing sunsets) and feels very secure. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My only complaints would be the mattresses are extremely thin and facilities (especially kitchen) are slightly run down.

I stood only one night but I could experience the international atmosphere!! The owner managed to organize a very cozy place to welcome the travallers all around the world. I had a shared room with totally 4 beds and the part of the dormitory (which was the only one I saw) was renewed newly. The bathroom in the dormitory seemed also to be renewed newly!! This facility offers also a yard where I stopped myself in the night to have some chats with other travellers!! The owner was a great host and ...

I really liked my stay in the dorm. The location dirketly on the beach is great and the host is very nice. I hhad a really late flight in the evening and was able to stay there for the rest of the day. Would go again :)

Dana and his dad are the sweetest. Great location, clean bathroom. Dorm mattresses were a little thin ans kitchen wasn’t as clean. Had a great stay anyways

Good place to stay for a night. Everything was clean, right by the beach to rest after or before a long flight.

Really liked our stay here, we could only sleep here for one night because we had to go to the airport, but it was amazing. Next to the beach and there are a lot of nice restaurants near. Very clean and a good vibe, would really recommend!!!

I had a very good time with Dana and his friends. The hostel is well located, right next to the beach, perfect to watch sunset. The doorm was also very nice with curtain for intimacy, air conditioning and a very modern bathroom.

Loved it here, perfect location to relax, right on the beach, Dana and his father are very nice and helpful. The neighbours are cool too. Can’t wait to come back

This hostel is RIGHT next to the beach, the owner is very friendly, the rooms are good. There’s a very small kitchen if needed, but also good food places close by.

Great spot for the price If you’re looking for a cheaper spot this is the place. Free water provided and warm shower and A/C in the dorm. And that for very little money Can definitely recommend

Der Host, war super nett. Auch das Bett war relativ bequem, es gab ein einzelnes Bad direkt am Zimmer, was sehr praktisch war. Restaurants sind auch zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Gerne nochmal!

i stayed a week in the dorm of the Flexi Lodge (one business with the Sunshine Guesthouse) & i liked it very much. the owners are absolutely lovely & the location is a nice local area inbetween downtown & the tourist area north. it's authentic & not posh, surrounded by lovely sri lankian people. the hostel is first row from the beach (with little bays, but don't expect a clean beach). their are still a bit renovating, but it's a great vibe. the community area & dorm is new - very nice & clean...
