Soluna Hostel

Very beautiful, calm and clean hostel. The beds are comfy and clean. The staff is so kind and helpful. They take great care of the place. I felt really good there. Thank you ❤️

Really nice stay! Not super social + location is about 20min walk from the main strip but still a really nice basic hostel and Frankie + staff are really cool and accomodating. Sussed a Motarbike for a good price, AC is good too :)

Frankie is a great guy, he‘s really forthcoming and you can ask him anytime you need something. The dorms are big enough, bathroom and showers are clean and there‘s no deposit for towels

My stay at Soluna was great. Franky makes sure everything is perfect for your stay, gives you some good recommendations around, you can ask him if you need anything. Best host, welcoming and friendly ! The room was comfy, the place was clean with good facilities. Location is amazing if you don’t mind to walk, it's a quiet area, no road noises.

I had such a wonderful stay at Soluna Hostel! The hospitality was truly amazing — the staff made me feel welcome from the very first moment and were always friendly and helpful throughout my stay.The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, which made it easy to feel at home. I especially appreciated the comfortable mattresses — I slept incredibly well every night, which is not always the case when traveling!Thank you for such a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Franky is a great guy. He will help you with everything at any moment. The property is clean, the atmosphere is great and there’s really not much to complain about.

He was always helpful, positive, and made everyone feel welcome from the start. You can really tell he cares about the guests. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and had a really nice vibe. I would definitely stay here again!

The hostel owner Franky was so lovely and accommodating. Hostel is modern, aesthetically pleasing, and clean. It is also in a quiet area, with a short tuk tuk/bus ride to the town’s centre, and between the beautiful wild beach and secret beach.

Started my Sri Lanka journey here. Franky the host was super helpful with lots of different recommendations that were often very well priced. He even joined me at lunch and dinner a few times. A genuine person who wanted to help for nothing in return. Rooms were tidy, good AC and exactly what you’d expect from a dorm room. Bathrooms were clean. Defo recommend staying here. Very chilled. Not a party hostel if that’s what you are looking for

Really loved staying at Soluna, met so many great people including the staff! Whether it was organizing a scooter or a spontaneous extension, everything was no problem at all. If you search for a place to connect to people and for a good vibe this is the place you have to go. One of my favorite hostels I‘ve stayed in Sri Lanka.

Had a lovely stay! Little Frankie who’s working there is the best- helped my friend and me renting a scooter for not much money and taught us a typical sri lankan boardgame with his friend. Can definitely recommend this place! Greetings to little Frankie 🙆🏼‍♀️

Best hostel I stayed at in Sri Lanka, it’s a very nice clean place with very comfy beds, rooms with a clean toilet & shower area. Slight walk to the beach but it felt very safe. Frankie was the best host over my 7 months travel - what a legend. The most friendly yet. He arranges cheap tuk tuk’s if you need to get anywhere. It’s very chill and cosy, I met the best people here.

Franky was a legend, we extended not once but twice here because we loved the hostel and the vibe so much. Franky helped with everything we needed and the beds were 10/10 comfy and everywhere was so clean! We slept so well. Definitely going to return next time, especially for the karaoke machine!
