Wave Loom Hostel Ahangama

Really liked the hostel!! Walk out the street and you have amazing places to chill at the beach with really good food, and you get 10% discount because you sleep at Wave Loom! The owners are really nice and made us feel very welcome and he even dropped us at the treinstation when we left! :) Would definitely recommend this hostel! Especially if you want a bit more quiet but still close to everything!

New Hostel with friendly staff and owner but still under construction and a lot of things to improve. I got sick from the AC (way too cold), I had the bed right under. No lockers, very little space for bags, broken fittings in shower and and toilets. Information that breakfast is included is wrong! It’s not. The owner is nice and has good intentions and ideas though. This is a new place so I hope this just helps with improving and I’m sure it’s gonna change but for now it’s like that :)

Great, new hostel! The garden area is very calm and chill, also the social activites are great!

Stayed for 10 days (kept extending), staff is very friendly. Chill people, dorms with AC, nice central spot. Would definitely come back!

Amazing owners, they made me feel like home. Very attentive and helpful, hosting dinners and events. The rooms are small, and the bed was not the most comfortable, but good for the price I paid. It is close to secret beach and a bunch of great restaurants, but a bit far from the city center (like 20min walk). I would come back!

Loved my stay here and is an absolute bargain for what I was paying! Then owner is a legend and will help you out with anything you need during your stay.

It was really good location and the staff is friendly. The only downside is that they don’t have private lockers so I could not extend my stay, and that is important for me and on here they advertise like they have lockers

Highly recommended new hostel in Ahangama, especially if you are looking for a budget option with great hospitality, cool vibe, beautiful outdoor and community area. Your hosts will be the most welcoming and caring people, you’ll find yourself showering in jungle like outdoor showers, the location is just a short walk from the main street. I really enjoyed my stay at the Wave Loom Hostel in Ahangama. Everyone was truly welcoming, the atmosphere was very good and the outdoor area was beautiful. I would come back every time.

we had a fantastic stay in the wave loom hostel! the hostel famlily was very nice and everything was very confortable! We had a great NYE with the guys:) there is a good restaurante you can go there every time you can near by. We had a very funny time there, thanks for that❤️

Great new hostel in Ahangama, truly a hidden gem, beautiful garden AC in the dorms and indoor and outdoor shower options. But what makes it really special are the owners, such a lovely family who immediately made me feel like I'm home.

i absolutely never write reviews, but had to on this one. i’ve never experienced a hostel stay like this, more like an home stay. they’re just so kind and welcoming, giving you the best names to parties or anything. they surely did feel like a family for the amount of time i spent there. couldn’t ask for a better experience, stuti 🌸

I wanted to settle down for a few weeks, and I found the perfect hostel. The place is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and has such a peaceful vibe. The people here are so nice and welcoming — I instantly felt at home. Truly the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for comfort, good energy, and a lovely small community :)

Wave Loom Hostel is such a chill and friendly place to stay! It’s just a 3-minute walk from the beach and has a big garden with relaxing nature vibes. The outdoor showers and washing area feel super natural and clean. Everything is safe with CCTV, and the staff are always kind and helpful. Breakfast at the Loom Bar is lovely, and the family dinners make everyone feel connected like one big travel family. Perfect mix of comfort, calm, andcommunity definitely one of the best hostels in Ahangama
