The most amazing place to live! So so clean and well maintained and the common area is literally a cozy corner where you can just sit and have a great time with your friends. I loved this place so much. And let me tell you they serve such a hearty breakfast❤️ the staff takes care of each guest so much. And if you get time make sure you speak with jessy the owner of Miner's house. She has the most amazing stories and wisdom to share. And if you are lucky she might take you around in her tesla...
I don't really like the street the hostel is on, its fairly close to the old town but on my I always got approached by drugged people that lived on the street. Very clean and the best beds I've ever gotten in a hostel, but not the most social hostel. Breakfast above average.

One of the best hostels I have stayed in. Amazing accommodation with a nice aesthetic. Great showers, a very good common area, amazing breakfast, clean, and comfortable beds! And on top of all that, amazing people who help out a lot and give good advice. Highly recommend!

Staff are so friendly and helpful. Located away from Old town but can walk in. Complimentary breakfast was very yummy and appreciated.
possibly one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. I have experienced lots of hostels and it's sooo beautifully managed with super comfy beds, clean spaces excellent facilities and efficiency organised. I highly recommend this hoste, spaciously awarene of personal needs of each individual. lovely friendly staff , solid super comfortable beds with cool clean rooms. bathrooms and washing facilities maintained daily.
Me and my friend had an amazing experience at Miners house Ipoh. The beds were amongst the most comfortable in all our 4 months of travel, and all the facilities were cleaned regularly. The breakfast included 4 options amongst which some local food. When my friend, who has numerous allergies, asked for a slight alteration this was immediately done. The lady who handles the front desk made us a full 2 day itinerary so we could see all that Ipoh has to offer. They really go above and beyond!!
Die Besitzerin war wirklich ein Engel!!! Generell ein super schönes Hostel mit toller chill area und die Betten waren wirklich ein Traum. Bestes Hostel auf meiner Reise, würde es jedem empfehlen :)
Absolutely BRILLIANT hostel. One of the best I've stayed in in my 4 months travelling SEA. So much thought has been put into making things comfortable/safe/welcoming for travellers. The access code is changed daily so I felt very secure, reception hours are long and I knew the team was available on WhatsApp in emergencies, the bed was super comfortable with 2 lovely pillows and nice linen, loads of hangout spaces to work, etc. Great kitchen. Fab free breakfast. Lovely staff ❤️

Everything about this hostel is perfect. But the best part is the staff, they really care for you. Also the breakfast is really good. Beds are amazing. This is just top tier stuff
Amazing hostel. Beds were so cozy, so many social areas to hang out. Breakfast was amazing and the host was so kind and gave great recs. Definitely stay here if you're going to Ipoh.
I had a great stay here! The rooms were clean and spacious and beds were comfortable. I loved the rooftop reading area and yummy breakfast. Highly recommend for both domestic and foreign travelers!

This is the first hostel where I’ve experienced such genuine kindness and comfort. Spacious, clean beds, beautiful interior design, an incredibly delicious breakfast, and thoughtfully designed common areas. But most importantly, the ever-smiling hostel owners and staff, whose warmth and willingness to help make all the difference. In this hostel, you are treated like a friend, not a customer. Wonderful people who do their work with love. Ipoh wouldn't have felt complete without Miner’s House...
Ein fantastischer Aufenthalt.... habe mich sehr wohl im Damenmehrbettzimmer gefühlt.... Breite bequeme Matratze mit Ablage, Licht undLadestation , sowie Vorhang. Alles supersauber und originell eingerichtet. Beim Frühstück die Wahl zwischen mehreren Speisen. Wasserautomat vorhanden 😀 Vorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft aller Mitarbeiter, vor allem die Chefin Jess und ihre Kollegin Wenessa. Danke dafür ❤️
This hostel shall be a reference benchmark example for other ones in South East Asia. I was already positively surprised by the owner before the arrival, since she contacted me through WhatsApp in my native language (great idea) sending a detailed info how to access hostel. Hostel itself is great, large, roomy house, large, clean and comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, entire place is very nicely decorated and planned. Breakfast was delicious, a home made waffle with kaya and a black coffee.
