Mandalas Hideout

Wir hatten einen richtig guten Aufenthalt! Jeden Morgen kommt das Personal, macht in der common area alles sauber, befreit jeden Tag die Außenwände von Spinnennetzen oder ähnliches! Die draußen area/ Innenhof ist perfekt um die anderen zu treffen, Spiele spielen und Ähnliches. Die Besitzerin sehr hilfsbereit!

Beautiful clean property. If you want a quieter, more chilled hostel outside of the centre of San Pedro this is the one for you! Bear in mind if you want to be closer to the centre, you will have to walk 20-30 mins or get a tuktuk. Private room was very comfortable, clean and very secure. Staff were so friendly and helpful, so helpful for booking tours and organising shuttles - they let me keep my bag in the other Mandala hostel (in centre of San Pedro) until my shuttle time 😊

I loved this place. The beds are very comfy, very friendly staff. Very chill atmosphere. Would totally stay there again. It's a little outside of town which I loved but you'll have to take tuk tuks everyday for going to town.

Great place to stay! A walk away, but it was very nice and in a quieter area with less traffic. They have a private beach area as well which was super nice. Overall, very clean, well organized, nice kitchen, bathrooms, lockers, and friendly staff! It was priced perfectly and I would definitely stay again!

Nice hostel, perfect if you want to be near San Pedro but don't want to hear the noise from Mr Mullets. Pretty quiet while I was there - an older crowd with not much of a social vibe.

This hostel is a little gem! Probably the biggest/comfiest hostel bed I have stayed in and the curtains were a lovely bonus, the staff were also really nice. It’s a peaceful area & a nice walk into town. This was a great place for a reset after travelling in louder/busier hostels!

Open concept bathroom. Really fun if you know the other people in your room. Very awkward if you don’t. Beautiful property in a peaceful part of town. 15-20 minute walk from the active part of town. Beautiful view and has private beach access

new hostel so not much of an atmosphere yet! it’s also about a 30 min walk from the town so definitely take a tuk tuk. good place if you want to be far from the craziness! there is a kitchen to use and everything was super clean. staff was super super nice too and very helpful. however when i stayed there i was the only guest so it was a little creepy at night especially since the dorms don’t have a lock only a sliding glass door.

I loved this place. It's mostly because I had an awesome crew of people there from all around the world at the same time, but for 75 - 95 GTQ (9 - 12 USD) a night, it was a great place to stay. Jose clearly cares a lot about the place being well run. It's still new, but I think they're going to do really well. Only room for improvement I can think of is to add lockers.

A cozy hostel a bit outside the busy streets of San Pedro. Beautiful location close to the lake and for being newly opened very nice facilities. The owner is super nice and helpful with anything you need! I really liked my stay here.

I had a very relaxing time at this hostel. The surroundings are calm and peaceful compared to the city center. The beach is very close and not crowded, which I really enjoyed. There are nearby shops with all the essentials, and the hostel is still close enough to walk to the city center or take a tuctuc for a few quetzales to get there.

I had the best time at Mandala’s Hideout . They recently opened and the place is super chill and calm to rest, the beds are probably the comfiest of my whole trip. They have a fully equipped kitchen which was amazing for cooking and there is a coffee shop nearby as well as local shops. It’s a bit further from the centre but easy to walk in about 15 mins and there is normally people to take you to town or share tuktuk with. Also lovely terrace and a pristine hidden beach nearby! Highly recomm...

This is an incredible space to stay in, the staff is super nice, the energy of the place in general is very welcoming, they have incredible views and direct access to the lake !

one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in! such a peaceful place right on the water, loads to explore, easy access to the centre (like 5 mins by tuk tuk), and the hostel has such a chill vibe with really nice people! super clean, nice and quiet at night with big beds, a full kitchen, and v decent price. would recommend if you’re looking for an escape from the party scene:)
