Little Drifter Glebe

I absolutely loved little drifters - it’s the first Hostel ive stayed in where I felt like I actually belonged, the vibes were nice, the people were welcoming and staff was super helpful

Sehr gemütliches Hostel, einige Long Term Gäste , deshalb kennen sich schon einige aber war nie ein Problem , vielleicht wäre es gut für die Long Term Leute extra Zimmer zu haben, da es sich schon auf die Stimmung auswirkt :) sonst alles top

Very good place to meet people and relax !

Overall pretty good, nice vibe. I got put in a massive dorm which was wonderful. Only one toilet and shower for 8 girls though which wasnt very clean, and the location is a little outside the centre so you have to use public transport. Definitely still a fan of little drifter and will be staying at their other locations as well.

The cleanliness seriously brought this rating down! The shower/bathroom facilities was horrible and dirty. For the first days it smelled like sewer in there. I’t did not look like they washed anything but the floor in the shower, and then not washing the floor in the bathroom. Would not recommend. - the room itself was alright, i had a solo room but the only housekeeping was them taking the garbage two times over 10 days. Very nice to have a busstop right outside that takes you to the centre.

Really liked the rooftop area and the kitchen was organised and clean. The food storage system was also excellent. We had a private room which was lovely. Not sure how friendly the vibe was, but I was with my partner so not always easy to tell. Mostly pretty clean but toilets could be cleaner.

Pros: very comfy beds, privacy curtains and a beautiful rooftop with lovely views. Great area of Sydney with good transport links. Sink in room, hooks have good storage. Cons: we had lots of belongings in our room from the people that had our bunks before (raised the issue with staff but it wasn’t addressed and we had to sort it ourselves so we could use the storage). Kitchen was often not clean and there isn’t many rules around cleaning up after yourself in comparison to other hostels.

Very bad experience. The hostel was dirty and I felt really unsafe in my room. It was impossible for me to sleep during the night (people in the room making FaceTime calls until 2 am, lights left on until 3 am). I won't even mention the state of my room when I arrived. Even though I had booked four nights, I simply could not stay more than one night in this place. Despite raising the issue, no solution was offered and I did not receive any refund. Definitely a place to avoid.

Very small rooms that are not cleaned regularly and facilities also quite cramped up. I would have wished for more space to store or hang up clothes and luggage. Rooms were really stuffy and air conditioning didnt work.

Such a lovely stay, has everything you need and feels so safe and secure- will deffo be back !

We were in a private room which was clean and the property is nice and new. The rooftop is really nice and the kitchen was clean. The staff were unhelpful, on multiple occasions there would be a queue of guests at reception and 3 members of staff sat chatting doing nothing.

Good facilities clean hostel

My friend and I stayed here for a few nights over new years. There was only under bed storage which my suitcase would not fit into and not much floor space. There was a changing curtain - a nice touch, along with the sink in the room. However the toilets and showers could have been a lot cleaner than they were and there was a full floor of showers out of order for our stay. We also found a leak in the kitchen and told staff who did nothing about it until we told reception who knew nothing of it.

Leider sehr dreckig und laut, gar nicht wie es auf der Website beschrieben wird. Hatte dein Dorm mit eigenem Bad, welches kein einziges Mal gereinigt wurden ist während meines Aufenthaltes. Auch Mülleimer im Bad und Zimmer waren Randvoll, musste zur Rezeption gehen und nach Reinigung bitten, welche sehr lieblos und spärlich durchgeführt wurden ist. Aufgrund der fehlenden Sauberkeit habe ich mich hier leider gar nicht wohlgefühlt!

Séjour très décevant au Little Drifter Glebe. L’établissement ne correspond ni à sa description ni aux avis 5★. Espaces communs fermant trop tôt et parfois monopolisés, cuisine inaccessible le soir, aucun ménage en 3 jours. Salles de bain sales (moisissures, manque d’intimité). The location is nice, i loved it… but if you need to go somewhere else on the city could be uncomfortable. The girl who is working during the afternoon/night was super friendly, helpful and nice. Other members of the staff are good too, but a couple of them no at all. the first room i’ve been was messy and with bad smell, the second one was perfect. i really appreciated the gym things. I think is a good place.

Of interest to young hostellers. sociable with good community areas. Dorm rooms are cramped. Not enough showers.Noisy at night with banging doors and loud guests.

Très bel établissement que nous recommandons (nous avons déjà fait des auberges sales avec des cafards) Les équipes entretiennent très bien les lieux (malgré qq occupants qui ne prennent pas soin des lieux communs surtout au niveau de la salle de bain du rez de chaussée)

Oh how calm it was. Enjoyed the sun on the rooftop with a view over some houses. The beds were clean and comfortable with great privacy with the curtains! The kitchen had everything one needed, even cooking oil!! Bathrooms basic but good! Bus departs and arrives directly outside the hostel which makes it easy to hop on and off regular coming buses of every 10mins to get to the next super market (10min drive or 30min walk), or wherever you want to go, like the beach or central. Would book again!!
