This is an amazing place to stay! Its a hostel and a homestay, Banana and her family are so kind and welcoming and make AMAZING food. Great breakfast included and she even made dinner for us one night and it was one of the best meals I've had in Thailand. The 4 bed dorm room was very comfortable and clean. The location is great, its more in the jungle but only a quick walk to 7/11 and the beach. Loved my stay and hope to be back one day.
A special hostel experience 10/10! This small, family-run hostel with a Thai family is something completely different from the typical hostel stays. It’s incredibly authentic, and you really get a genuine insight into the local culture. From the moment you arrive, you feel like part of the family. The hosts speak excellent English, which makes everything easy and comfortable right away. The atmosphere is warm, peaceful, and super relaxing
Such a great hostel! You need to walk uphill to access the property, but the beach is right at the bottom of the hill, along with lots of restaurant options. Banana makes each guest feel at home with her amazing cooking skills and help with booking taxis, giving recommendations, etc.
Very nice owners and staff members, only thing I didn’t like was the wildlife but that’s what you get when you book in the middle of a forest/jungle 😂 however nothing actually got into the rooms. People in the dorm were friendly and chatty. A little bit out of the way, easier to get too if you’ve got a scooter/moped other than that 0 complains would recommend.
Don‘t get me wrong - the owners/personal are awesome! They really are very nice and always happy to help. In my opinion I was feeling just a bit misleaded by the pictures. Yes the pool is there and you can use it, but it is from another hotel. U need to walk there a bit and the way from the main street is a bit tricky maybe for people who arent as fit/ undoable for someone with an injury. Also the beds are really hard and it overall is just not very clean.. Also a bit hard to connect.
Banana and her family were amazing ! Super cozy hostel and have been very helpful with everything. Definitely would recommend 😊
I loved my time there, Banana and her family are so welcoming, it felt like staying with my own family which made such a difference from every other hostel ive used. You definitely need a scooter, but once you have one its a great location. Only thing is that the showers are a little basic - but its really not a big deal. This is the best hostel ive stayed in.
Me gustó bastante hospedarme aquí, el personal es una familia lindisima y todo el tiempo te ayudan en todo, es más para desconectar pues esta en medio de la selva pero si esta muy lejos y de difícil acceso
This was our favorite place to stay during 5 months of traveling! Banana and her family are incredibly kind and welcoming, and it really feels like home as soon as you get there. She cooked breakfast for everyone and invited us to barbeque parties and live music events. The location is very central to activities all over the island, but has a very secluded and peaceful feel. We also had access to a really nice pool right next door. Thank you Banana!
Das hat so gut getan bei Banana und ihrer Familie zu sein💛 Vielen Dank 🙏🏻 you live in paradise.
Absolutely loved this hostel! Banana and her family are incredibly kind and helpful. The pool was so nice to relax at, and the restaurant there was very convenient! We extended our stay we loved it here so much. Will definitely be back
What a mega hostel! The couple that run it are absolute legends and create such a great atmosphere. Even made food for everyone with some drinks one evening! Breakfast is great and they also provide tea/coffee and water for everyone. Literally wouldn’t recommend staying elsewhere in Koh Lanta! Even let you use the pool they own next door. Best hostel!
I only stayed for 2 days but banana made me feel so welcome in her lovely relaxing hostel , place to go if you want to chill and relax with excellent company 😊
Loved staying here at this amazing home away from home, staying with Banana and her family was a highlight of my trip. Amazing thai breakfast- free of charge, helpful + kind hosts, and a chilled social atmosphere. Access to an amazing pool a few steps away. Would i stay at this rustic, interesting homestay-style hostel again? Yep! Plan to come back sometime soon.
it was one of the best hostels we‘ve stayed!! such a lovey stuff!! the food banana cooked everyday was amazing too. highly recommended:))
Really great hostel to stay in. Owner and her family are lovely hosts all guests staying there were really nice. Clean room and excellent food made by banana the owner
This has been the best stay I’ve ever had at a hostel. Not because of any type of luxury appeal, but because of the people. Banana and her family welcomed me here as one of their own and the people that are attracted to this place are so lovely. I met some amazing friends and was really able to enjoy the island and come “home” to even more fun. It’s really a homestay experience. You stay in a separate part of bananas house and there is only space for 12 people at the hostel, it feels lik...
