Really recommend to stay there! Such a nice and laid back energy and with a really lovely and chill staff. Loved staying there :)

Great hostel to learn Surfing! It’s right by the beach, and the surf school is well organized with friendly, helpful instructors. The atmosphere is relaxed and social, so it’s easy to meet nice people. The Restaurant is very good, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are clean. I would definitely stay here again!!!

The location was incredible, I have never felt this safe in a hostel with leaving my belongings. The doors were not even locked. The rooms were very safe and everyone trusted everyone. The general environment was safe. It was extremely clean. Showers and toilets both inside and outside. Literally next to the beach. Next to everything. Only downside was the staff. Only one guy out of all of them that worked was friendly and welcoming the rest, I didn’t feel a very warm welcome from.

Gorgeous brand new hostel a stones throw from the beach. Tucked away just beside the main area of Weligama. Gorgeous cafe, lovely staff and a very chill vibe

I liked this hostel so much I ended up extending and rebooking it during my trip. Such an easy going vibe, nice hosts and with a cute cafe serving great coffee. Its also right by the «nicer part» of weligama beach in my opinion. Recommend!

Amazing hostel located right on the beach with beautiful rooms. We ended up staying 5 weeks!! surfing everyday with their surf school. Best staff ever, everyone is so friendly. LOVE IT

Amazing location right next to the beach. Bautiful room and comfy beds. Only the bathrooms were a little dirty.

This is a cute little hostel with a family atmosphere right on the beach! The location alone makes it worth a stay. They have just opened two dorms and run a surfing school, so you can easily book a lesson and walk down to the beach for it after getting up! There was also a dinner and bonfire where everyone joined in when I was staying there. The dorms are pretty standard. Unfortunately, my bunk bed was right under the air conditioning unit, so it was impossible to sleep with it on.

So ein tolles Hostel in Weligama. Das Hostel ist total neu, dementsprechend ist alles sehr clean und schön gemacht. Man wird super herzlich empfangen und die Manager sind super cool. Generell herrscht so eine schöne Atmosphäre sowohl mit den Mitarbeitern als auch mit den anderen Gästen. Das Hostel ist sehr social und man findet schnell Anschluss. Das Hostel ist mit einer Surfschule verbunden, dh perfekt um surfen zu lernen oder sich zu verbessern. Highly recommend!

Absolutes Lieblingshostel, es liegt direkt am Strand und gehört zu einer Surfschule mit dem besten Team. Hatte zuerst 3 Nächte gebucht und bin dann über 2 Wochen geblieben - wie fast jeder andere auch. Es hat die allerfreundlichsten Mitarbeiter, wir haben oft abends alle zusammen spiele gespielt, sind surfen gegangen oder haben rice&curry nights veranstaltet. Besonderes Dankeschön an Elisa & Savi, die den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz besonderem gemacht haben. Kann ich zu 100% empfehlen!!

Zo’n fijne tijd gehad hier! Het is een klein hostel waardoor al snel iedereen als een familie voelt, inclusief de mensen die er werken. Ik kan niet wachten om terug te komen 🫶🏼

Everything about Surfers Hostel was amazing., the staff were incredibly kind and friendly, always making sure everyone was comfortable and okay. The atmosphere felt like a little family. The family dinner was fantastic and such a highlight of our stay, great food and even better company. Special thanks to Savi, Elisa, and (pretty eyes) as well as the rest of the team for making us feel so welcome that we ended up extending our stay and honestly wished we could stay even longer!

Das Hostel hatte einen richtigen Wohlfühlvibe. Es befindet sich nur ein paar Meter entfernt vom Strand. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und sauber. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr herzlich und sind auf unsere persönlichen Wünsche eingegangen, ob wir Lust auf Party hatten oder ein gemütliches Family Dinner wollten, sie haben es möglich gemacht. Würde jederzeit wiederkommen!
