Amazing property, with a great view of the pyramids. Close to the pyramids and GEM (15 minute drive). They upgraded me to a single room from a dorm.
I was in Rafiki hostel - Pyramids for about 4 days and I had the best time! It is very clean, friendly staff and a amazing view on the pyramids from the balcony and the rooftop! Anytime I needed anything they would help me out very quickly and smoothly. Thank you so much, until next time!
This is one of the nicest hostels I have ever stayed in. If you are there for the Pyramids and the GEM it is in a super location. The room was super comfortable and had one of the best hostel showers I have ever used. The view of the pyramids and the sunset from the balcony and the rooftop is crazy good. Noura who runs the hostel is the nicest person you could hope to meet. She is super accommodating and gave me so many recommendations for things to do and ways to get around.
The hostel has a perfect location and you get more for your money than you expect. Of all the hostels in Cairo, this was by far the best I've stayed in. The view from the roof is breathtaking, the mattresses are very comfortable, and Noura is very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I lacked nothing and I will definitely come back next time.
The property was amazing! Very modern and nice. I struggled with the keys getting there my first night but they fixed it while I was there. Was a bit confusing getting there. There is two gates downstairs to get in. And you have to have a key. Once you get the hang of it . It’s great. There’s a corner store right by the gate , that was nice. And can order Talabat . Loved that I could lock my door and keep my key while I was there. The rooms were very well upkept. The view is outstanding !
The staff is very friendly and helpful♥️♥️ The location is very close from the pyramids
Lovely place! Close to many site-seeing destinations, I used Uber and it was very easy for me. The staff there is very helpful and always keen to attend to my questions and asks quickly!
Totally worth it! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The stay was comfortable and everything was well organized. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Egypt
Noura was amazing and will help you with anything you need!
I think the hostel is great! while its still new I found it very clean with very nice facilities :) the showers were very ninice and with strong water pressure and the kitchen was very large! There is a big common area and all the rooms are spacious too! the location is just 15 minutes from the pyramids and the new GEM museum which is great and it only costs about 100egp to get a bike to downtown Cairo. i'm exited to see how the place devedevelops and will defenely come back again! :)
The hostel itself was really nice but there was almost no one. I felt extremely unsafe. There was no sign on the street on how to find the hostel - it’s impossible. The WiFi wasn’t working. The front door was also open and it felt like anyone could just enter.
Staying at Rafiki was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Egypt. The hostel is ideally located near the Pyramids, and the rooftop offers beautiful views of them. The staff is amazing: kind, welcoming, and truly dedicated to making your stay special. It feels less like a hostel and more like staying with friends. The atmosphere is both social and relaxed, with travelers from all over the world. My room was clean and cozy and the beds come with curtains, which is great for privacy. If y...
If your looking for a place to stay in Cairo that’s close to the pyramids, look no further than Rafiki!! In terms of the staff, they are so accomodating and helpful! Thanks to Noura, I felt so cared for and looked after. She was more than happy to help with anything I needed, even from before I arrived at the hostel which made my trip run so smoothly! The dorms, common spaces and bathrooms are clean and beautifully curated, and the views of the pyramids are spectacular!

I was in Rafiki Giza for almost 1 week and the experience were so great. I felt at home from the beggining and my stay here were fabulous and also had the chance to meet Noura which is a great person and very kind, she helped me a lot and share very good travel tips, I really appreciate her time with me, also the hostel it's very nice and very clean and location is just near to the Pyramids. Now I feel this place as home and looking forward to stay here again next time I visit Giza. Kind regards.
Great hostel with an amazing location, very close to the Pyramids. Clean, comfortable, and friendly staff. Highly recommended!
Honestly, I am very disappointed. The WiFi didn’t work, and the shower ran out of hot water quickly. Only three of us stayed in the dormitory, and if one person took a shower, others couldn’t shower until the next morning. Also, the staff gave the wrong closing time for GEM. Because of this, my friend gave up going to GEM. As if that weren’t enough, after more than a week, they unexpectedly charged our card for an additional night, even though we had already paid. I really can’t believe...
Rafiki Pyramids Hostel felt like home 🏠 The terrace view of the Pyramids is unreal 🌅 and the location couldn’t be better just minutes from the Pyramids and the new Grand Museum.Big shoutout to Martina the best GM ever 💪 Martin at reception for being so kind and helpful 🙌 and Tresa & Abanoub for keeping everything spotless 🧼 The vibe here is chill, friendly, and full of good energy. Can’t wait to come back to stay with the pharaohs ❤️
