Eia by Dawata Boutique Stay, Yoga & Cafe

Located inside a gated village so felt v safe. Getting around by motorcycle is easy and cheap anyway. Staff are friendly and the beds and linens are clean. I didn’t get to try the yoga, but it’s a nice offering. Can’t really complain much — good value you get what you pay for. The ‘rustic’ vibe kind of feels more like an excuse for subpar materials than an actual design choice, but no major complaints at that price point just the bathroom needs some work and cleaning

Amazing hostel, looks like a hotel. There are free yoga classes in the morning, the class was absolutely amazing. The space is beautiful. The hostel space is very clean also. The staff is great. However no food options. The location is the best, in a private street, very calm and very safe.

Ich war in dem Einzelzimmer, und hätte mir eine modernere Ausstattung im Bad gewünscht. Der Wassererhitzer hatte nur zwei Stufen: Kalt und kochend heiß, die Toilette leckte entweder aus dem Bidet oder aus dem Boden sodass der Boden immer nass war und die Klimaanlage ist auch eher rustikal. Alles in allem war das Personal sehr hilfreich und freundlich, die Umgebung schön gestaltet und sehr ruhig. Die Lage ist zentral und direkt neben einem Einkaufszentrum gelegen.

i asked for another room cause mine didn’t have any windows. was no problem at all to spontaneously switch rooms. so sweet & understanding

The space itself was incredibly nice! I loved the way the hostel is build and it’s interior design! It’s also in a sort of compound so you feel very safe. Unfortunately the girls dorm was really messy, bins were overflowed, and the bathroom/shower could really do with a daily clean. The shower hardly had any pressure, but it was warm. Not very social. The yoga classes were a big plus tho.

My stay there was very short. The place is nice. I was in a shared male dorm. I think the bathroom (shower and toilet) could be improved. And for some reason, the Wi-Fi kept disconnecting when I was in bed. I think the signal wasn't strong enough. Other than that, it was a good stay.

Absolutely an amazing experience here. I immediately felt welcomed into part of a family. I was staying at another hostel beforebefore I arrived and I regret that I didn't find EIA until I had. I highly recommend staying here over any other place in Cebu.

booked here last minute after getting stuck in cebu with the storm and the staff were so accomodating and lovely! i had a private room which was very quiet and felt very safe. thanks again :))

They knowingly allowed me to stay in a room that was infested with hundreds to thousands of little orange bugs that could bite. I hardly slept at all that night, was a really bad experience. It's a shame because it otherwise seemed like a nice hostel with nice staff.

Really nice place! Feels more like an hotel than a hostel highly recommend!
