Coco Mango Hostel

comfy beds with mozzy nets, chill and homely atmosphere but still social. such lovely staff and adorable pets. felt so relaxed here. great value for money.

Staff were very kind and helpful. Very nice spot to chill and relax. A quick walk to good food and the beach.

nice volunteers and owners, feels like being home. no ac in dorms but a fan for every bed, i was fine. good location too.

It was an amazing stay here! The staff is so friendly and in general the hostel has such a chill vibe with the little outdoor area. Wifi worked really well and everything is clean. Would always come back here!

Couldn’t recommend this hostel more!!! Such a nice friendly vibe, very chill zen hostel but still social! The lady who runs the hostel is an absolute angel who went above and beyond to help me when I was having a crisis! This is a new hostel which is why there isn’t a lot of reviews yet but I promise you won’t regret staying here! When I go back to hiriketiya I will definitely be returning here ❤️ also three adorable hostel pets, it doesn’t get much better!

Our room was listed as having air conditioning but when we arrived we were put in a room with only fans and this was the worst 2 nights we had in Sri Lanka. We barely slept for the heat, the noise outside was constant either dogs barking, tuktuks revving outside the window and hymns being sung through the night on a speaker a few buildings away. Probably a lovely hostel if you don’t mind not sleeping, but if you want to get a wink of sleep this probably isn’t the place.

Great hostel, comfortable, clean, cool staff. And the pet rabbit is a legend!

Atmosfera stupenda, ho esteso il mio soggiorno di quasi una settimana in più per stare lì. Zona perfetta sia per la spiaggia di Hiriketiya sia quella di dickwella. Se passate di qua fermatevi assolutamente

Loved it here! Very social (but in a calm way) and we felt very safe. The owner is so nice and we went out for a local lunch together. I would warmhearted recommend this place to everyone! They just don’t have AC but fans

Hostel itself is fine. Nice distance from both beaches, shops, restaurants. Has a kitchen which is always a bonus. Very hippy commune vibe? Maybe stay elsewhere if you’re a light sleeper. There is a dog that yaps throughout the night and the AC can be quite loud.

Unbelievable home like experience. Hostel staff are incredibly kind and attentive - facilities are great too. Always booked out, so a constant social but chilled atmosphere. Would highly, highly recommend.

Such an amazing stay at Coco Mango, the staff was amazing as well as the atmosphere. A lot of really fun activities and the house pets are just adorable. 10/10 ⭐️

Very nice and confortable hostel, perfect location, but if you’re hoping to meet people or are looking for a hostel/community vibe, I’d probably move along..! The volunteers are very closed off to anyone interacting with them + seem like your bothering them when you wanna chill in common areas, which sadly created an uncomfortable vibe :(

This hostel is literally perfect - apart from the staff. The owners were so accommodating but every staff member made me feel like an inconvenience, don’t go here for hostel vibes but everything else is mega

i adored my stay at coco mango. the property is perfectly situated between hiriketiya beach and dikwella beach. there is no A/C but i slept very comfortably with the fans. the hosts and volunteers were so friendly and i enjoyed the donation-based breakfast. and they have an adorable bunny on property!!

I felt like a home there, realy comfy bed with mosquito net and curtains🫶🏻

I had such a great time at Coco Mango! The staff was very kind and helpful and made me feel comfortable from the very first moment. I would definitely stay there again :)
