Funwave Guest House in Haeundae

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. The host was super sweet and very helpful. Free laundry, a full kitchen with snacks for purchase, and nice bathroom/shower accommodations. Fyi, this is not a party hostel. It’s perfect for those interested in a quiet, calm atmosphere while staying in Busan.

Bathrooms and shower rooms are both very small and dirty. The shower rooms don’t have a ventilation system to dry out the moisture after showering. Dorm and private rooms: The soundproof is very bad as I could still hear the talking from kitchen and the ongoing noises from the corridor. The pillow is very soft and has no support at all. You receive all the detailed information for the check-in via mail/the booking plattform. But the contact via WhatsApp or similar options is fast and the owner is really helpful with any issue. When they are around, they resolve it personally as well. The dorms (here: four bed dorm) are nice and lockers are also offered. Washing machine and dryer are for free service (respect the using hours) and on the blackboard you get some useful information what to do.

Great place to stay in Haeundae walking distance from the beach, the market, and the train. We stayed in both the dorm rooms and the private rooms and they were both what we were looking for. Rooms and shared facilities are clean, comfortable, and well equipped. They have a large kitchen, free laundry machines, and lots of drying space. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They were responsive, they gave us recommendations in the area, gave us snacks, and were around every day.
