Good stay 40 min walk from dt area
mega hostel, das größte zimmer der ganzen reise, mega schöne chill area, gutes Frühstück und das liebste Personal, haben uns alle Tipps gegeben, ist nur leider bisschen außerhalb, bis auf 9 Arches Bridge ist braucht man zu allem länger aber wenn man nicht alleine ist super machbar. absolute empfehlung aber man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man immer 30min laufen muss in die Stadt und zu anderen activities

Meine liebste Unterkunft auf Sri Lanka. Die Aussicht ist ein Traum und die Ausstattung ist hochwertig. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück schmeckt sehr gut. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen!

Das Hostel war sehr sauber und ausreichend ausgestattet. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und haben einen schönen Ausblick ins Grüne. Leider funktionierte die Klospülung nicht immer. Dadurch dass das Hostel etwas oberhalb des Zentrums von Ella liegt, bietet es einen guten Ausgangspunkt für verschiedene Aktivitäten. Jedoch zahlt man für ein Tuktuk ins Zentrum ca. 1000 LKR und es ist sehr schwer nachts eins zu organisieren. Die Besitzer waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Super schönes Hostel, wenn man etwas mehr abseits von der Stadt wohnen möchte. Die Hosts sind total nett und das essen da ist Mega Mega lecker. Würde jederzeit nochmal dort einchecken
Probably one of the best hostels I stayed in Sri Lanka. Huge dorms, very clean and fresh bedsheets , very good cafe and WiFi. Employees are super nice and helpful. A bit far from the center
We really enjoyed our stay at the hostel! It had the comfortable beds from all hostels we‘ve stayed in Sri Lanka and hot showers! The staff is super friendly and the surrounding is quite. Little Adam‘s peak and the famous bridge are only a 15 min walk away. To get to the city center it’s 35 min by walking but there is also a bus coming every 30 minutes. Would definitely stay there again!
THE best hostel i stayed at during my one month stay in sri lanka. first of all the rooms are MASSIVE for how many beds are in the dorm. the cozy blankets and hot shower was lovely. you have a balcony overlooking incredible views. don't let other reviews dissuade you from staying because of the location, it was so quick and easy to walk into town. the free breakfast was lovely and i met so many cool people here.
Great hostel. The owner is so nice and helpful. The location is great for the bridge and the Adam’s peak, but if you want to have food you need to walk into the city(20-30min) or take a tuktuk.

I really enjoyed my stay. The people are super nice and the rooms are huge, extremely clean, and have a balcony with a great view. If you want somewhere quieter to stay and don't want to be right in the tourist center of Ella, this is the place for you.
Hostel is cute and has extremely comfortable beds but very far outside of town. Dorms are spacious and there is hot water which is much appreciated for cooler weather.
Lovely new hostel! The dorm room was very spacious. The common area with kitchen, dining and living was really nice as was the food and coffee. It was far from the Ella centre but good in terms of being close to Little Adams Peak and the railway.
Very comfortable stay at Upside Ella! Great location in a quiet area, walking distance to the Nine Arch Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak. The staff was fantastic!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Upside Hostel in Ella. Die Lage ist ruhig und perfekt bei der Nine Arch Bridge und dem Little Adam’s Peak. Die Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war lecker, das Zimmer sauber und geräumig. Das Bad ist leider nicht komplett abgetrennt vom Rest des Zimmers und die Atmosphäre im Hostel war eher ruhig und nicht unbedingt social, da es nur wenige Betten gibt. Trotzdem haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Absolute Empfehlung!
