Solmate Collective Hostel - Madiha

I loved our stay so much! The vibe was very familiar and chill. Indeed very similar to roommate vibes, sociable or more on your own, both is fine. All activities like crocodile safari, family dinner, surfing, yoga, ice bath, all is very nice. The garden of the hostel is really gorgeous and nice to hang out. Shout out to their trustworthy driver Amal who will get you every where for a fair price. Only feedback: curtains at the beds would be the cherry on top. Rest was perfect. Thanks Solmate

Solmate was the best hostel i’ve stayed in Sri Lanka!! It felt like living with roommates, such a chill vibe also with the staff (play carrom with Sandun;)) First night was epic with Nils winning the ping pong tournament in Sandbank and I immediately extended my stay and stayed 8 nights in total. They had great activities like yoga, ice bath, movie night, sunset volleyball and the best family dinners with local food. Location is perfect, close to the beach and nice restaurants en shops.Miss ...

Sin duda alguna el mejor hostel de la zona. Aqui uno se siente como en casa, el ambiente es muy familiar y los propietarios cada dia organizan actividades. Es muy facil socializar con el resto de viajeros. Todo el mundo extiende su estancia. No os podeis perder el family dinner que prepara mama Dammika!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen! Es ist alles da, was man brauchen könnte - wir wurden super lieb empfangen und haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Wer Lust auf Gemeinschaft hat, findet hier auf jeden Fall schnell Anschluss. Genauso kann man sich aber auch mit nem Buch in die Sofaecke setzen und zur Ruhe kommen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder und freuen uns schon darauf!

Tolles Hostel mit sehr schönen und netten vibe. Es werden Aktivitäten angeboten, an denen man teilnehmen kann, wenn man mag. Gerade für Alleinreisende super. Alle sind super nett und super freundlich! Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt!

Amazing place to stay! From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed into a beautiful open garden filled with plants, a bar/café, and plenty of social spaces that make it easy to meet great people. Huge shoutout to John, Adina, Nils, and Saga for creating such a magical, welcoming space, and to the social hosts Lucy and Miguel for organizing fun events that really bring guests together. Truly felt like a home away from home

One of the most amazing places in Sri Lanka, thatch’s so much more than just a hostel. Solmate is surrounded by a big beautiful garden, that fits perfectly tongue yoga, breathwork and ice bathing. Amazing activities to get to know others. The dorms are super new, clean and the beds are comfortable. Amazing place with a great energy! Thank you!
