Went there to drop my backpack and get some rest. The whole place was incredibly peaceful and calm, totally recommended.
An incredible place, a rare opportunity to live in a cave like the ancestral people (the Amazigh) did. Chenini is stunning and the walk over the desert plateau to Douiret and back (easy 8km each way, well signed) was the highlight of my entire trip. The food at Kenza is also awesome, as are the staff. N.b. you have to take a taxi from the bus station, I was very lucky and got one for 20Dt each way with the lovely Khaled (WhatsApp +216 22 500 869) who I highly recommend too. You're welcome!
Bel endroit bien insolite.
unique experience. hot shower. superbview. the only negative point is that the pump failed . no water while i was in toilet. it is about the pump hose that had been too rigid old age and need to be replace for fully tight connection to the pump suction.
It is a really nice place to stay on Chenini. It is more like a boutique hotel and has 4 very simple individual rooms for "hostel" like accomodation. Price does not include dinner (35 TND) but includes breakfast - both are good. My only problem were the shared bathrooms which are very disappointing and smelly. The shower is horrible.
