Laughing Leopard Sigiriya

The hostel is very new and you can tell the people work hard to make it a fun and sociable experience, and they are all so kind! The dorms were clean, the beds were comfy and the dogs were a great addition would definitely recommend.

Good hostel, very friendly staff, not sure if there is a good location in sigiria really and it was very quiet because of off season, also the doors didn’t lock but overall good

I enjoyed this hostel, it's fairly new, clean and the owner is putting in a good effort to make you feel welcomed. It is quieter than the surrounding hostels who are more established and have bigger names for themselves.

Its a good hostel with a chill vibe. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The common area has a comfortable social atmosphere. I enjoyed my stay here

Such a great hostel! Staff are great! They arranged a cooking class for us where we prepared our dinner. They teached us the local game carrom! We were only 3 guest at the time but we had a blast with the staff! Thank you!

Really good vibes! We felt very welcome and the staff was so amazing and really created such a social atmosphere. They host a lot of fun activities. Would 10/10 recommend and definitely come back.

Honestly one of the best host I’ve stayed at. The crew is amazing and friendly and will support you in any way. The room is amazing and clean. Which a nice stay. Wish I had more time in Sri Lanka to stay longer there. The family dinner was delicious. Defo recommend this place to anyone.

Had a great stay at Laughing Leopard! The free family dinner is amazing and a great way to meet people. They also organized different activities every night that I was there. No hot showers but not too bad considering the temperatures. The rooms were nice and roomy and clean. Good location as well close to some little bars and restaurants and close to Lion rock as well.

New hostel so it's normal that everything isn't perfect, but the vibe there are worth it! Free family dinners every night is really precious and helps to meet people as well! It's quite far from the city center as well but it's manageable. Staff will help you figure out transportation as well which is great! Bring mosquitoes repellent they are HUNGRY

Had the best time at Laughing Leopard - the facilities were great, staff super friendly and very cute dogs as a bonus! The free family dinner was delicious and filling. Overall, a great stay and would highly recommend!!

great team, amazing family dinner which brings the people on the table (which is too big). one table and benches all around would be more social than the long line. Great tours, good mattress (but bit shaky beds) , good ac. would come again.

Nice hostel in Sigiriya, lovely outdoor area to chill, eat and play with the gorgeous doggies. The included family dinner was a big plus, and a great way to meet and chat with others staying there. Would be even better with hot water in the showers :)

Nice hostel with a great vibe. The guys always are there to help you and also make a good atmosphere. The only thing is that the rooms feel humid, but furtheremore the facilities are fine.

The owner and staff of this hostel are LEGENDS! Free family dinner, amazing vibes, perfect location, and great facilities. The owner introduced us to his friends visiting from different parts of the country and other locals for some great nights of drinking. Don’t skip out on the cocktails here! Our favorite hostel yet in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend!

Love this hostel. Family dinners are amazing and a great way to meet people. They do activities and organised trips. The staff are amazing. Ash dropped us in dambulla when we wanted to visit the cave temple. It’s still new and getting set up but the are just so welcoming and helpful. Offering advise on what to do and see. The fasciitis are basic, I mean it’s an amazing price but it’s clean and well thought out. Stay here.
