Lovely chill place. The staff was so friendly, food was great, location right on the beach. The rooms are really hot to sleep in and showers are cold but it’s expected on koh rong sanloem. The hostel had lots of games and beautiful balconies and places to sit.

- We stayed in the private room and it was VERY humid in there when we first checked in. It had windows that let the sun in all day because it didn’t have any blinds/curtains.
+ Truly the best hostel I have ever stayed in!Not just for its location literally on the beach, but for the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The owners are so welcoming and have created such a beautiful and chill space for people at Seashell. We kept extending our stay as we didn’t want to leave! The hostel has tonnes of board games, comfy places to hang out (including hammocks on the beach) and activities like bonfire night, necklace/bracelet making and family dinners which make it really easy to chat to other travellers and make new friends, (I can be shy so this was really important for me.) All the beds in the dorms have their own mosquito net and fan as AC is not common on the island. The hostel breakfasts are delicious so many amazing options and all so fresh and healthy. There’s also a great selection of cafes and restaurants close by to try too. M’Pai Bay in particular is my idea of paradise, small, stunning scenery, not overdeveloped and just incredibly laid back. There are no cars, no noise pollution, no roads, you can simply switch your brain off and enjoy! I met the most incredible people during my time here, locals and travellers alike. There’s a real sense of community that I haven’t felt in other places I’ve been, if you’re there on the 23rd of the month they throw a fundraising party for the island which was so much fun. I’m really sad to be leaving this special place but so grateful to have found it and I look forward to returning in the future

Seashell is beachfront and has great vibes, especially thanks to the hostel rep Tarik! The owners, Mads and Mathilde, are very genuine and kind and truly want you to enjoy every second of your stay. Family dinner was cooked on the beach and I can’t recommend it enough. Basic bunk beds each with its own fan. Loved my time here

Had the BEST stay at Seashell !! The hostel is so homely, the dorms and beds are big with mosquito nets & fans, bathrooms are hugee and super clean. The breakfast is amazing and can get unlimited coffee 9-12 for $2 - everything is great value for money. The staff are the best, Mads & Mathilde were super friendly and helpful. Tarik, one of the volunteers, is our new bestfriend and the nicest guy everr. Its nice and chill but so fun & social! Would recommend to anyone visiting M’pai Bay !!
- Chaleur dans la chambre sous les combles. Chiens aboyant la nuit. Rue bruyante tôt le matin Chère pour les prestations. Douches bouchées pas très hygiéniques.
seashell hostel is the best!! the location right on the sand is just unreal. super chill vibes too— social if u want it to be but also space to do your own thing if that’s the vibe you’re on. i originally booked 2 nights and ended up staying for a week. ugh i’ll miss it!
+ Lovely staff, good location and makes it easy for people to come together through game nights and such.
- It's very hot on the top floor, but not really surprized over that and there was a footstand fan on the floor. No mosqitonet over the bed (mattress on the floor). Also had a cockroach in my room and stepped on a dead one at the top floor. Small things, my general impression is over all good!

What a slice of paradise! We absolutely loved the Seashell Guesthouse and would have extended if we didn’t have our boat booked. It’s the perfect laid back beach vibe: super friendly owners, perfect position on the beach, lovely rooms - we couldn’t recommend this place enough! Be warned there’s no aircon in the double room but you get a very big fan!

Was really happy with our 3 night stay! The couple that own the hostel were nice & welcoming! We booked the private room at the top which had a stunning view of the beach! Good value for money! Wasn’t much of an issue for us personally, but there was no hot water for the showers so may be an issue for someone who does want a hot shower! Also the tattoo part of the hostel is currently on pause?, so if you’re staying specifically for a tattoo then just be aware! Otherwise can’t fault the pla...

+ Superbe emplacement et qualité de l’accueil
Great hostel right on the beach. Lovely owners and volunteers. The one thing is the whole building and dorms remain unlocked at all times so anyone could walk in. It feels a super safe area but that was the only thing.
