Lotus Hostel Ha Giang Loop

+ Big, comfortable bed, only 6 in dorm

- No trash bins and toilet paper in the bathroom. I was told there is no water in the bathroom, although I heard someone using it.

+ the property as a whole was great,clean, food tastes amazing and I just couldn’t believe it cost me 1.5€/night. (50.000~ dongs)

- The location wasn’t the best, grab isn’t an option in ha giang so if you want to go to the center you’ll have to walk a few km.its fine for me cause I like walking but not everyone does

+ The room is comfortable, it is little but you have everything you need. The breakfast is good and the terrace where it is hosted is really cute.

- The dinner prices are really expensive and the food is commercial stuff like burgers, pizza or pasta bolognese (in Vietnam.. which is a bit weird). The hotel itself is okay, however we do not recommend doing the loop with them. It feels expensive for what it is, and we noticed they were doing different prices when talking with other people on the loop. Furthermore the loop itself was really underwhelming. We basically just stop in bars/panoramas, to have coffee, use the bathroom and buy souvenirs.. kind of a tourist trap in my opinion… do not expect to have any explanation of what you are seeing, drivers barely speak English (if they do). Plan to go when there is a good weather, because otherwise this will ruin your experience.

- Sanitäranlage soll besser gewartet werden. Z. B. Verstopfte Waschbecken und tropfende Dusche

+ Hai y la otra trabajadora de día son ultra simpáticas. Me ayudaron en todo momento y siempre con una sonrisa de oreja a oreja. Una cama en la habitación mixta me costó menos de 2 euros, solamente 48k. Teniendo piscina, billar y vistas increíbles no se puede pedir más.... Sin duda, si vuelvo a Ha Giang me quedaría aquí

+ Personnel du restaurant très sympathique. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment bien. La cuisine du restaurant est très bien et pratique pour ne pas avoir à aller en ville. Serviettes renouveler tous les jours.

- Situer à 2km du centre, il faut un easy driver. Ça manque de rideaux sur le lit car l’hôtel étant sur la ha giang loop, beaucoup de gens arrivent dans la nuit et allume la lumière. 1 douche sur 4 fonctionnelle pour 2 chambres de 8. Et un chauffe eau qui ne dure que 8 minutes. S’il vous plait, mettez des poubelles ! Déchets un peu partout car aucune poubelle ni dans la chambre ni dans les toilettes ni dans la salle de bain ni même dehors … Les toilettes sont vraiment sales

+ The staff were so friendly and helpful. Anna is the absolute best, she looked after my friend and I so well. She helped us with our hostel booking and buses after we finished the loop. Another lovely man also gave us a great price for the Ha Hiang loop through the hostel. They spoke English very well too. Would definitely recommend to other people passing through or wanting to do the loop :)
