JoNny's Bar & Hostel

The place is okay. The basic things you need in a hostel is there. The staff is available but no direct recommendation or advice. The blanket is thin as paper (it’s a worn flat sheet) and the AC is set at 16, we were freezing. It’s not beach front, but you have an access to the beach.

By far the best hostel in Siquijor. Incredible location and friendly hosts.

We didn’t have any issues with bugs, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, and the location was great! An idyllic hostel on the beach. Not many social events but because of the location we didn’t find it to be an issue! Would highly recommend.

This place has so much potential. The location is fantastic being so close to the beach and just a short walk to bars and restaurants. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. However, cleanliness let it down. We expected a few insects in a basic beach hut, but being woken at night by large beetles (possibly cockroaches) crawling on us, as well as seeing them during the day was alarming. With better cleaning and pest control, this place could be amazing.

Great stay! Lovely place and people. Has an outdoor gym and hammocks everywhere. Jonny is really making the place something special. My only complaints are no warm showers/much water pressure. And the curtain and bed sheets are VERY thin. Would be perfect if there were thicker sheets for the bed and a better curtain system. Looking forward to coming back!
