Turquoise Hostel is very clean and safe. The rooms and common areas are cleaned regularly. The street it’s located on is also very nice, and the location is quite pleasant.
Comfortable, clean, and the friendliest staff. Thanks for a great stay!
Very tidy hostel and the staff was extremely polite and helpful!
Kind of a weird one, thankfully we booked a female room but the main area and different sections for bunk beds aren’t closed off, so it doesn’t feel very private, female room had its own room and keypad though. Also the main area smelt like smoke the entire time, I think because it was situated above their restaurant? Staff was super nice and accommodating, the common area is not situated in the same building, you have to walk about 15 meters to the side of the building, it’s a small room ...
From my experience, this is a different concept of a hostel. The facilities are new and the location, although not too far from the old town and transport, it’s ok especially if you’re looking for residential/calm areas. The hostel is next to a restaurant with a separated entrance, shared facilities in another room, no kitchen or actual spaces to socialise. It was clean when I get there and regularly cleaned throughout my trip. Friendly staff, one fridge for all. No kitchen. Lockers.
I really enjoyed this hostel! I stayed in the women's dorm and found it was a great space for meeting people. It felt like a real community. The beds are comfortable and have curtains. The lockers are great, too. The staff are super nice and have a strong sense of hospitality. The daily cleaning is fantastic! The only thing that was missing for me was a kitchen. But I have heard from repeat-guests that the hostel is very responsive to feedback, so perhaps this point will soon be redundant!
Very close to city centre, clean and nice stuff. I will come back
This stay was AMAZING. I really enjoyed the sort of open air dormitory style and I definitely appreciated the curtains on the beds and easy access to plugs and a light. The staff was some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, they were very flexible when our flight came in late and were very accommodating! I also definitely recommend checking out the restaurant attached to the hostel, amazing food!
I had an amazing stay here and highly recommend it! The hostel is extremely clean. It has comfortable beds with privacy curtains and bed lights/charging outlets. The bathrooms were also really clean and there were sufficient showers and toilets- I never had to wait to use them. Area is quiet, but central. The staff were so kind and helpful to me! I absolutely loved my time here and would 10/10 stay here again.
Amazing hostel near the boulevard. The staff was really nice, helpful and easy to reach by phone. The spaces were super clean and beds were comfy with curtains, there were also decent sized lockers with built in locks. At night it was calm an quiet. There were also other young travelers to socialize with. All in all excellent value for price.
Modern, Extremely Clean and Trustworthy Place I had a great stay at Turquoise Hostel. Everything is very new, modern, and exceptionally clean — it’s clear that hygiene is taken very seriously. The rooms and common areas are well-maintained and comfortable, making the stay very relaxing. The owner, İsmail, is a very kind and helpful person who truly cares about his guests and is always friendly and supportive. The restaurant is also very good, offering both quality and convenience. The hostel is very brand-new (opened 2 months ago as of April 2026). Facilities are modern and clean, exactly as shown in the photos. The hostel is located at a quieter part of the city, but feels safe and is well-connected to the Old Town with bus 104 that runs every 5-10 mins, which was exactly what I needed after some time traveling. The bed was comfy and I was able to sleep very well. I can see the owner Ismail put a lot of efforts in making this hostel a comfortable place for tourists so ku...
Ismai is the best facility is hotel clean definitely recommend.
The cheapest, but the best hostel I’ve stayed in so far. Staff were very friendly and gave great travel advice. Rooms and bathrooms were incredibly clean. Showers were top notch, better than some hotels I’ve stayed in. Rooms have good lockers and beds have curtains. Adjacent to a Turkish restaurant that you can get a discount at. Close to some bus stops. Absolutely great hostel. Would stay in again if I was in Bucharest again
I loved the place! It is a bit quieter and out of the city, but it was what I was looking for. I stayed in a female only dorm and there was a door with a code, so felt very safe and the host and staff were very kind and accommodating!
Is very good , very friendly and helpful people Just for my opinion must to have more toilet and showers
This is a very nice and clean hostel. Management handles business very professionally and can help you if you need it. I would absolutely stay there again.
Amazing hostel, very clean, great location as you could walk around and there were stores and bars near by. The host was amazing and gave really good tips. The restaurant down stairs offered a discount if you stayed in the hostel and Turkish tea on the house. If I’m ever in Bucharest I will stay there for sure.
I really recommend! Very clean and nice hostel. Ismail was super nice and helpful. Hostel was really safety (as a solo woman traveller). Hostel is little bit far at centrum but its easy and cheap take a bus.
Probably the cleanest hostel I've ever seen! The rooms and beds are just perfect, the only thing that is really missing is a common space. It's thus an amazing place to sleep but not really to socialize or chill. The location is quite far from the center but well connected and the area has a lot of cafés and restaurants etc.
