Ostello della Pace Assisi

I had an excellent stay here. A calm atmosphere in the countryside and very peaceful. I met friendly people while I was there and the man running the hostel was also very lovely.

Very dirty overall, building looks rundown and smells unpleasant. Stained mattress, dirty blanket, no toiletpaper in the bathrooms, trash in the dormitories. Contrary to what is advertised, towels are not included in the service, neither does each room have its own showers. No lockers. Bathroom and shower cabins don't close properly. In sum, the place really is not equipped to be a hostel at all. It is not even particularly cheap. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
