Cast Away - Eco resort

A truly amazing hostel. Tadej and all the other staff members were so welcoming and really made me feel part of the hostel family. Although I only stayed one night I had the most relaxing and memorable time. I’ll be back!

Cast Away Hostel is an absolute hidden gem. Set in a stunning seaside location, it’s the perfect mix of peaceful escape and natural beauty. The crystal-clear water, quiet rocky beaches, and wide-open views create a truly relaxing atmosphere that’s hard to beat. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming, making it easy to unwind and feel at home. Whether you’re swimming, soaking up the sun, or just enjoying the sound of the waves, everything about this place feels effort

Staff were great when we needed help any time they were there to assist. Beautiful location. Private beach and availability of paddle boards and kayaks was great. Highly recommend. The owner Didier was very friendly and it was interesting to hear about how the place came to be. Also the lone staff member during our stay, Tadej, made our stay very nice and welcoming. Don’t think you’re getting better value at any other hostel. Out of town but nice getaway if you’re looking to relax. 10/10

Didier and the hosts were such lovely and amazing people! The facilities were clean and tidy and although it was a bit cloudy on the first day, it was very relaxing being so close to the sea.

Genuinely the highlight of the trip, everyone working was so so lovely and we felt safe, comfortable, and welcomed the whole time.

Plage rocheuse de galets, prévoir des chaussures de plage. Belle grande cuisine, mobilier de jardin divers, terrasse équipée et bar extérieur. Possibilité de faire du paddle. Je recommande ce lieu pour les amoureux de la nature et les personnes aimant la tranquillité.

UNREAL, if you’re heading to Croatia at all this place is a must do! Honestly the loveliest people, Didier the owner has such a lovely story about how he founded the place. It’s the most relaxing place in the world. The huts are very keen, there’s nets so no bugs get in. The kitchen is fully equipped, you get your own assigned fridge shelf and storage box. We had a wonderful time at cast away! The glamping tents are comfortable and if you pay a little extra you can have one that overlooks the sea. There is a beautiful cove for swimming and the staff do a great job keeping the kitchen clean all day long. There are an abundance of hammocks and cushions where you can sit down and chat or relax. The free pick up and drop off is also a huge bonus If you like sleeping outside and want to be immersed in nature this place is perfect.

We spent as a couple 2 nights and everything was amazing. The staff is super nice and always available for your needs. The vibes that you find in CastAway are simply unique which we already miss a lot. Once you reach this place, the first feeling is that everybody is smiling and enjoying some genuine happiness, both guests and staff. Thank you again for let us try this experience.

If you don't stop here on your trip, you are going to regret it! 100% recommend. The place was absolutely amazing, as you can find something for everybody. The most beautiful beaches, an amazing beach bar (the best cocktails I have had), hammocks, like-minded people, etc. A great place if you want to meet new people or if you just want to hang out for yourself. Staff and the boss were very friendly, engaging, and helpful to all of us that were there at the time.

My stay at Cast Away was wonderful. Waking up to the sight of the ocean and, even better, falling asleep to the soothing sound of the waves was revitalizing. The place is beautiful, with a small beach that seems to be there just for the guests. The waters are clear and transparent, with lots of fish and rocks to explore while snorkeling. Absolutely loved my stay at Cast Away Hvar! As a solo traveler, this place was everything I hoped for. Laid-back, social, and surrounded by nature. The huts are a unique experience, and waking up with the sound of the ocean is so wonderful! Super friendly staff, good vibes, and easy to meet other travelers. If you’re looking for something off the beaten path with a strong community feel, this is it. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Wicked little getaway. Snorkelling on a private pebble beach, hammocks, bar, cozy little A-frame rooms and more. If you've been rolling through cities, you need to spend a few days here and unwind.

Ich habe mich sehr willkommen gefühlt. Staff sind sehr zuvorkommend und toller Service, dass man gratis von der Fähre abgeholt/gebracht wird, zwar nur zu einer bestimmten Zeit, aber immerhin👍 Der Ort war perfekt für mich, da ich Ruhe Suche und dass man vom Zelt aus direkten Blick aufs Meer hat, ist der Hammer 😍 Danke für die naturnahe Erfahrung
