Ok hostel. Facilities were very basic but had everything you needed. The guy doing the check in was very angry and not at all helpful.
I didn’t like this hostel. Most of the staff were rude and it was dirty. I find it ridiculous that no early check in possible even though you must do the beds by yourself and no staff cleans the room. So technically the bed would be available directly after check out. Doing one’s own bed I find not fair for the price you pay. I wouldn’t come back here. Breakfast was good tho.
This hostel is a great reflection of Calafate: remote and overpriced. at least it's close to the bus station
really nice hostel close to the bus station. you had to make your own bed, which i thought is a bit weird, but the room and on suit bathroom were clean itself. the stuff isn’t uptodate with their information on activities and the breakfast is only sweet and rather small.
Great staff, chill hostel
Fue una estancia muy cómoda. Todas las literas tienen su respectivo cajón para guardar cosas, además de que el comedor es amplio y luminoso.
Vor dem Hostel hat es einen Hund der beisst. Da muss etwas dagegen gemacht werden. Die Matratzen sind durchgelegen. Da könnte man mal neue besorgen. Die Bäder sind auch etwas renovationsbedürftig. Preis-Leistung stimmt bei dieser Unterkunft nicht.
We only stayed one night and arrived after 1am so not the best judge on facilities atmosphere. But I don’t understand when hostels make you dress your own bed. After arriving so late after a long travel day and being handed sheets to make our own beds in a dorm full of sleeping people - we were very annoyed. Trying to fit sheets in the dark and quietly. With the prices of hostels in this area, I think having the bed ready is the least they can do. Only plus is that it’s close to the bus stat...
Pro: great breakfast. Great ladies at breakfast & playlist! Cons: not safe for female solo travel and really bad front desk staff. The first night we arrived we were welcomed by Lucas. We wanted to reserve on the spot and he told us it was not possibile because on sunday they dont receive the reservation from the system in BA.(Wt?) I tried to understand and he treated me like I was stupid. We eventually get into the room and it is dirty, they didn’t clean the bathroom, the toilette is broken....

Has just what you need for a few nights, but nothing special. Kitchen facilities are very limited, but good enough overall.
The dorms don’t look like they’ve had any improvements since the 1960s and there is nowhere to lock anything. Bathroom smells and is shared with more people than advertised. It is very cheap though, so you get what you pay for!
The hostel was fine, but could use some improvements: for all the bunk beds in one dorm there is only one shared ladder, the water pipes make a lot of noise.

Very bad bunk beds in the dorms that barely keeps standing upright, when you enter the top bed. Breakfast mediocre at best. Shower only had cold water. No lockers. Receptionist would not let us keep our bags behind the desk after check-in. Choose something else if you can.
Sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Ruhige Lage, abseits vom Touri-Trubel des Stadtzentrums.
