La Percha Hostel

Me encantó el jardín, le da verde y vida al espacio que es amplio. Sin embargo quería un espacio para descansar y relajarme en las noches ya que está retirado del centro (aproximadamente 20mins a pie), desafortunadamente se escucha todo en la habitación y la familia cerca del hostal es un poco ruidosa igualmente. La cocina le falta es vieja y le falta mantenimiento pero se puede cocinar, aunque es pequeña para tanta gente. Creería que es un poco costoso teniendo en cuenta calidad/precio

This hostel was absolutely lovely and such a beautiful place to chill after being out in Palomino! We originally planned to stay for 2 nights but ended up being there for 5. The only thing I would say is that it is slightly out the way as it’s on the last street of Palomino, but it’s only a 10 minute walk into town straight down one road. It’s definitely not a party hostel but everyone there was lovely and social - would definitely recommend!

Schönes Hostel, bisschen abseits gelegenen, was wir aber toll fanden, weil es schön ruhig war. Es gibt einige gemütliche Ecken zum chillen. Der Besitzer ist super freundlich und hat uns viele Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Ein tolles Hostel, das ich weiterempfehlen würde! Nur in der Küche hat etwas Geschirr gefehlt.

Okay hostel. I can’t give it a higher note because it unfortunately didn’t hit the spot for us. The power went out for hours and nobody from the staff came to help for a least candles or help us get in town to get dinner. Pitch black with no cellphone signal. Lots of agressive stray dogs on the way to the property and no lights in the streets as it’s outside of town. The room was however super clean!

Loved our stay here. Lovely shower, and room was super nice with a brand new mosquito net on the bed. Such an incredible price. The kitchen was tidy and had all the amenities you would need to cook your own meals. Highly recommend staying here :)) German, one of the owners, was really friendly and interesting, talking to us a little about the culture and religion in the area. Only 10 min walk from the beach.

An amazing Eco Hostel! Our favourite activity was the Bird Watching tour, where we learned so much about Palomino, birds and other animals & Colombias history and culture. It was one of the highlights of our Colombia trip - 100% recommend!

this hostel is perfect for you if you‘re looking for something quiet, private and with a good price. It was very clean and the owners really care about the wellbeing and the environment around the hostel. however you have to be aware that the hostel is located outside the main area and a 15 minute walk to the beach. The rooms are also very simple so you hear everything going on, especially the cleaning staff at 7 am.

Best hostel we’ve stayed in! Such a nice atmosphere, the garden is beautiful and there are a lot of places where you can hang out. Kitchen has everything it needs and the rooms as well. Always clean and the staff was amazing! German and his family created such a beautiful place and we stayed much longer then we expected :) also we would recommend (!!) to do the bird watching and the tour to the indigenous village - both were well organised and we learned so much! ❤️

quiet place 10mins from the tourist street. kitchen could be improved with more basic utensils like cooking spoons. my room‘s window wouldnt close fully so I was woken up by the rooster im the middle of the night.

It was a very lovely experience here. The staff was really really friendly and helpful. People in the hostel was nice. The overall atmosphere was wonderful. The style of the hostel and the rooms are beautiful, it’s clean and comfortable. It is overall quiet. We had a great stay here and can really recommend this hostel.

We stayed here for a month and it was the perfect chill vibe, 15min walk to the beach, 10 to the main street. Feels very calm when you come back in. Highly recommend the private room with balcony for couples (has a hammock & sofa outside). Kitchen is lacking (no bowls, 2 spoons etc) but you can cook basic dishes. It’s super secure and safe. The greenery is amazing and you can see birds and butterflies all over. If you stay you should do German’s bird watching tour - he’s super passionate!

Best Hostel in Colombia so far. We spent 6 wonderfull nights there - and it really is an oasis of relaxation. German the host speaks english and is super helpfull with a lot of tips for Palomino, we even did a bird watching tour with him!

We had a great stay at Jui Chi MaMa! We loved the style of the hostel and our cozy private room. Germán was the most helpful host and all staff was very friendly! Would recommend 100% and I wish we had stayed longer!

Loin de la plage, Chemin de terre de Palemino. Obligé de patauger dans la boue. Je suis arrivé un dimanche. Un bar de billard dans le barrio, musique à fond jusqu'à 2jeures du matin. Dommage car l'hostal est bien avec un grand jardin. La serrure électronique de l'accès à hostel ne fonctionne qu'1 fois sur 5. Comme j'avais la chambre près de l'entrée j'ai dû faire le portier plusieur fois.

This is by far the best hostel we have stayed in so far. It is an oasis of calm and tranquility and has everything you need. It is super clean, safe, has a kitchen and has great attention to detail. It has a very chilled vibe. The owner and satff are lovely and I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jui Chi MaMa. The host German was so attentive and friendly. The location is just a short walk from the Main Street in Palomino which was ideal for us. The room was clean and spacious, with good cooking facilities and social areas. I highly recommend staying here, what a great place!

Fantastic place! Feels more like a home, the staff are so friendly and they can’t do enough to help and support you. The grounds are so clean, it’s really botanical and beautiful. I had a private room and the bed was so comfortable and shower was nice and powerful. It’s a quiet hostel, so it’s a lovely place to escape and feel in touch with nature. This was an excellent hostel. The rooms were very nice and it was a great working atmosphere.

Good value but slightly weird vibe. Lovely garden and chill vibe. Rooms are nice but the showers are a trickle. More like an air bnb - individual rooms and shared kitchen which isn’t mentioned on the description. There is no breakfast service so come with food to cook as it’s far out from town. The staff are there but don’t seem to know much. The garden is lovely and it’s really chill apart from noisy neighbours and sometimes staff playing music/radio from their phones.
