Hiri Hideout

Super gezellige hostel, heerlijk ontbijt (de smoothiebowl 😍), leuke inkleding, supervriendelijke en behulpzame hosts, op wandelafstand van het strand en vele restaurantjes, en een cute hond! Heel aangenaam verblijf gehad!

Really lovely new hostel. Very clean. Very chill vibes (but this could also be the fact there aren’t any middle east flights currently so the whole area was quiet). The staff were so lovely. Air con in the 2 bed dorm but no window, although this didn’t bother us as we were never there in the day. Laundry service was very good.

This is probably the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. The bedrooms and bathrooms are immaculately clean. And the beds are HUGE, and very comfortable. Also the A/C is very crisp to the point that I needed a sweater-- perfect to cool down from the Sri Lankan sun. And the owner and staff were so incredibly kind and friendly! Unfortunately, my friends and I were disappointed with our stay at Hiri Hideout. While the hostel was clean and just a short walk from the beach, the lack of security was concerning. Male staff entered female-only rooms without knocking, and there were no locks on the property or rooms. The lockers were also unreliable, as keys could open multiple lockers.

The hostel is very clean and everything is new. The rooms are equipped with AC and it’s about a 10-minute walk to the Main beach. But the vibe isn’t very social and the staff is friendly but kind of passive. The private room is really simple and not so welcoming.

It is a new hostel so everything is in great condition. The bathroom was very clean. The rooms got a bit small when everyone was in there with all their bags but that didn't matter too much as the outside space with seats and hammocks were very nice to chill in. The WiFi was also super good.

Really recommend Hiri hideout, rooms are clean, great shower facilities and good location. We extended our stay as we enjoyed it, couldn’t recommend more.

Nice and clean hostel!

Schönes kleines Hostel, sehr ruhig und neu. Es wirkt alles noch so ein bisschen leer und man könnte noch ein paar Dinge ergänzen wie Ablagemöglichkeiten am Waschbecken und Haken. Ansonsten wirklich schön, nette Leute, gutes Frühstück, würde wiederkommen :)

New, clean, adorable hostel in a great location, just a few minutes walk to all the beaches and bars. It’s a small hostel so it was very easy to become friends with every single person there! Max was amazing, the owner and everyone who works there (I’m sorry I forgot names) was friendly, chill and very helpful and accommodating!! They let me extend multiple times and even wait for hours outside the airport in the middle of the night for me. Only bad was lots of mosquitos and no organized act...

Super cool hostel. Everything is new and really clean. The staff are super nice and relaxed. Probably the best hostel I’ve stayed in in Sri Lanka.

Just opened but a decent little hostel. Nice beds, with curtains, chargers, lights and good AC. Bathrooms and showers were new and kept clean throughout the stay. I think once it settles in it will be one of the most popular in Hiriketiya. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Amazing new and clean hostel with very helpful and lovely staff. Beds are big and comfy. I can definitely recommend the smoothie bowl for breakfast

Lovely Hostel, very close to the Beach! Very accommodating staff, will help you with whatever you Need. Hostel is completely new so everything is super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and affordable. I can highly recommend staying in this hostel!!

I stayed at multiple hostels in Hiriketiya and this one was by far the best one! It‘s very clean, the beds are very spacious and there is a lot of space to put the luggage. The location is also great and the staff is so nice! Definitely recommend staying here!

Haben hier für drei Tage gebucht, sind ne Woche da geblieben😂 Bestes Hostel in Sri Lanka bisher. Sehr geile Lage, super ruhige gegend trotzdem nah am Strand und dem Ortszentrum, ultra clean, man kann super connecten, top Frühstück, insgesamt ne 10/10 experience:))

We stayed for four nights in the hiri hideout and we can completely recommend this place to anyone! The facilities are new and modern and everything is really clean! They serve freshly made and tasty breakfast! The staff is very friendly and helpful and the location is nearby the beach.

Top Hostel in ruhiger Lage! Das Hostel ist sehr neu und sauber. Das Personal ist top und es herrscht eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen!
