Sehr schönes Hostel. War in der off-Season und fand den Preis etwas teuer daher. Sonst eigentlich eine gute Erfahrung gewesen.
Everything about Canto was excellent. The only down side was that they do not have locker facility. Enjoyed my stay there
Honestly this hostel is pretty nice. It’s super clean (way cleaner than any hostel or hotel I’ve seen in India), has nice hot showers and comfy beds. Also above lovely cafe. Downsides are the staff seemed a bit uninterested (although good at their job), there isn’t much of a social vibe at all, and I’m not a fan of hostels that go for AC turned really cold and thick blankets (but that’s more personal preference). Overall a nice place to stay.
We had the private room at Canto Hostel. It was clean and perfect for what we needed. It is above a nice little cafe which serves good coffee. We only stayed one night as we were passing through Panjim.
This is a great hostel!
A nice and cozy hostel in close vicinity to the spectacular Mandovi river and Fontainhas, the scenic Latin quarter of Panaji. Great decor and co-working space. The café downstairs, although expensive, has a great selection of beverages and its own W-Fi. The only downsides are that the cabinets for guests in the dormitories don't allow for locking, the overhead fans in the dormitories are a bit too close to the upper beds and the electrical outlets by my bed didn't work.
I was initially a little nervous to book this hostel as there weren't many reviews online. I can honestly say this place is amazing. I've been touring around India for several weeks now and this has been by far the best hostel. It's clearly been built recently with a lot of 'western hostel' influence (i.e. the showers are separate from the toilets, water pressure is 10/10). Facilities are cleaned daily, and the staff are super helpful and were able to print of documents etc. when we needed it.
