Tony's House Hostel Huaraz

Tony's house es un lugar agradable des del que visitar Huaraz y sus increïbles montañas, Carla es una gran amfitriona, muy acogedora y te da la información necesaria para conocer la zona. El jardín y las zonas comunes son muy agradables, y cuentan con la compañía de Milo y Canela y de muchos pajaros. El cuarto tambien es muy agradable y con lo necesario. Lo único a decir, es que no esta cerca de la Plaza de Armas, esta a 20 minutos caminando en subida.

Love the space - hammocks and comfy chairs to relax in, big lawn to stretch out over. Wifi, beds, breakfast and hot showers all good too. But the highlights are the hosts and the dogs - super lovely and helpful. Would definitely come back one day!

Clara's place is like nothing else in Huaraz. Starting with beautiful outside garden, home-made meals (even cakes!) and helpful recommendations. Clara makes all the effort to make you feel welcomed. Another bonus are two very cute rescue dogs which made my stay even better. I recommend this place to everyone staying in Huaraz.

Would highly recommend this hostel! It is a little out of the way but worth it in my opinion! I met lots of cool people here, and Carla was extremely helpful.

hostel chaleureux, propre avec un beau jardin pleins de hamacs et sièges. Carla est adorable et vous aide pour trouver les moyens de transport vers les différentes rando. elle est de bon conseil. le petit déj est bon mais de petite taille. wifi et lockers à disposition. c'est un peu loin du centre mais du coup un peu plus au calme.

Highly recommend - perfect place to base yourself in Huaraz. Warm and comfy bunks with curtains and lockers, hot showers, massive yard to chill and dry gear, free luggage storage and great breakfast. Plus two cute dogs :) 15-20min walk to the Plaza, but nice to be away from the bustle and still close to shops/restaurants. Carla is lovely - very flexible and super helpful!

Tony’s House felt like a home away from home. Carla is an amazing, helpful host who creates a warm and welcoming vibe. A great place to meet other travelers over shared breakfasts and to relax in the quiet garden. It’s a calm, relaxing escape that’s still a short walk to everything. The ideal home base for mountain enthusiasts!

Tonys House Hostel is lead by Carla, a wonderful art teacher with a always warm smile. She created a space that is not only there to sleep and start hikes from but also to live, relax and spend enjoyable rest days. Wunderschönes Hostel um runter zu kommen und zu entspannen.

I had a fantastic stay at the hostal. The owner was super super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I stayed in a very simple room - no luxury but it was all I needed. The location is a bit further out of the city but in exchange it is in a peaceful green environment (and if you don’t want to walk 20 minutes a taxi can take you for 5 soles)

This is a perfect place to calm down and enjoy the company of members of the welcoming and kind hikers community. Carla is an extremly caring host and puts lots of work in order to create the beautiful atmosphere of this hostal. All common areas are designed and decorated in a unique way. If you looking for a place to feel like home in Peru I recommend you go there.

Really nice hostel. Perfect if you need to do some remote work. Some lovely dogs at the residence also. Everything was really nice the only slight negative was that at times I felt a little rushed to leave or felt like my stay there wasn’t appreciated which was strange because I was only one of two guests staying at the hostel

My stay at Tony’s was amazing! The owner is so friendly, she helped me to organise my hikes, spent some time with us, backpackers, and the food is amazing!

It was really nice staying at Tony‘s House Hostel, I felt so welcomed there! Carla is such a warmhearted person and had a lot of good recommandations for the stay too. The garden is the perfect spot for lying in a hammock, enjoy the nature and get used to the height. Milo and Canela are really cute too, they match the content of the wifi Password haha. All in all I recommend everyone to stay in this hostel!! ☺️

Nice outside area but the vibe is pretty strange and you don't feel very welcome by the owner.

Carla est une personne généreuse et très efficace. Elle donne de précieux conseils et fait son possible pour que le séjour soit un plaisir. Le lieu est à l'écart du brouhaha facile d'accès à pied ou en combi depuis le centre ville. Le grand jardin avec un espace hamacs, est tres agréable pour se prélasser. Petite cuisine en extérieur bien équipée. La douche est chaude. Les chiens sont adorables.

Tony’s hostel was a perfect place to relax after an overnight bus and treks. Carla was welcoming and informative about the variety of tours and treks you could go on. The dogs were lovely and it was nice to feel at home for a few days. The food was great as well, we had some of the Peruvian dishes which were delicious, the desserts were also amazing, and the pizzas looked great too. The bed was comfortable but we found the pillows too lumpy.
