Mai Chau Moment Homestay

Leider war es nicht sehr sauber, was vermutlich daran lag, dass niemand wusste, dass wir kommen. Außerdem hat es im Zimmer sehr muffig gerochen. Sehr positiv war allerdings der Verleih von E-Motorcycles. Insgesamt war es in Ordnung und zum Schlafen hat es gereicht. Wir würden allerdings zukünftig ein anderes Homestay wählen, vor allem weil es viel zu teuer ist, für das was einem geboten wird. Preis-Leistung ist wirklich schlecht.

Avoid this place at all costs. They don’t accept reservations through hostel world. If you book they’ll have no idea what you’re talking about and send you to Sunrise Village down the street. Sunrise Village has dorm style rooms, but they’re 16+ bed and the rooms are pretty gross. Just book somewhere else.

When we got there, it felt like nobody was expecting us. Nobody spoke English, and seemed completely confused about our presence. The beds were as hard as rocks, even though we stacked two mattresses on top of each other. When we wanted to pay, we couldn’t pay with card, even though it said that we could do that on the website. Again, the staff didn’t understand a single word of English, so while we were stressed about our bus, we were the ones explaining them how we could pay instead.

took a gamble booking there without any reviews. turns out they forgot about my reservation, so instead of canceling, they sent me a few doors down the street to another property, where the room had no sink, no shower, no towel, no soap, DIRTY AND UNWASHED SHEETS! When a hotel messes up your reservation, they must upgrade you, not downgrade you and expect the same price. ended up cutting short my stay to move to a decent place. very unprofessional and would advise staying away.

Excellent hostel! Clean rooms, friendly staff, great location, and a welcoming atmosphere. Perfect for relaxing! Quiet, cozy, and away from the crowds. Ideal for travelers seeking peace and a break from the tourist buzz.
