+ The bunk spaces are quite spacious w/ exactly what you need (plug, light, duvet). In addition, in a great location.

+ Overall good experience, convenience, comfort

+ Hostel très bien tenu, personnel très accueillant. Petit déjeuner convivial et copieux selon nos critères (pain grillé à volonté!). Chambre familiale spacieuse, literie confortable. Sanitaires nickel. Bonne ambiance, table de billard dans la pièce commune, petite terrasse avec guitare à disposition.

- Seul défaut, l'isolation phonique de la chambre limite, qui donne sur la salle commune qui peut être un peu bruyante (mais cela dépend des jours probablement). Cela n'a pas empêché nos enfants de dormir bien sûr...

+ Location is very nice, nice to have included breakfast (but very limited). Beds very comfy.

- Our room was near the patio and whenever someone was smoking the smell would go directly into room and it was very unpleasant.

+ When first time came, not sure what to expect, but after 3 nights stay, highly recommend this place to travelers visiting KK.

- Exhaust fan in shower room would be a good plus and upgrade review to a 10

+ Perfect stay in KK, direct access to Gaya street, lots of eating places nearby, newly renovated facilities, cool aircon is lifesaver. Common area next to reception is a plus. Friendly staff: Joanne, Ian and 2 ladies whom i forgot to ask their names are extremely helpful making stays at Concrete Jungle Cabin an unforgettable experience.

- Only small thing to improve maybe is the exhaust fan in shower room, there seems to be an exhaust hole in the ceiling, but it doesn’t seems to work, resulting after shower it could get very warm and humid, and you got all wet again. A good working exhaust could recirculate the air inside shower cabin, as it is a fully enclosed space, no window.

+ 1. Located at Jalan Gaya (Love the Street Market during the weekend morning & Street Food Market on Friday & Saturday nights) 2. Value of money for backpackers (Not budget). 3. Centralised and everything within walking distance, including local attractions. 4. The bed & pillow + blanket are comfortable. Bed curtain for privacy. 5. Clean Shared toilets and cold and hot water showers with good water pressure. Towel provided. 6. Clean & tidy dorm with security access (You will be given a 1-bed mini locker & a 1-luggage locker under your bed). 7. Free simple breakfast and free-flow of hot and cold water available.

- 1. No dedicated mini Surau, but you can use the available space next to your bed for Solat. 2. Be prepared with a blast of AC. A hostel blanket saved me.

+ Stayed here twice cause it was so good. Beds r comfy, staff are lovely, bathrooms are nice and clean, toast for breakfast, good location

+ Buena relación calidad-precio y buena ubicación. Nos lo pasamos muy bien jugando al billar, la terraza también se agradece. Las duchas, aunque son compartidas, son amplias y modernas.

- el desayuno es un poco escaso: tostadas mermelada mantequilla y cafés. Por el precio, está muy bien. Podrían añadir alguna fruta o cereal.

+ Good location. Very comfy beds. Showers were nice. Breakfast was bread and jam but very convenient. Communal area was nice. Staff were very nice

- Drains sometimes smelt. lockers weren’t the best cause they were in the way of everyone’s stuff

+ L'emplacement était idéal, la chambre et les parties communes étaient très propre. De plus, le personnel était à l'écoute, bienveillant et nous ont donné de très bons conseils sur les activités à faire à Kota Kinabalu. Nous recommandons évidement cet hostel.
