Lovely hostel, with a very chill, relaxing vibe. Firepit at night on the roof is a touch, and relaxing in the day between surfs is super easy. Will deffo be returning back here for next season, best of luck Simo!

hakuna matata has such a sweet energy! it’s a hostel but simo makes it feel like home, it’s very safe and super easy to meet really nice people. we had the most amazing time hanging out on the rooftop together, jam sessions by the fire, laughing all night, movie nights, amazing trips (the list goes on) or just chilling and we’re so grateful this beautiful place was brought to us by coincidence. also big yummy breakfast and the cutest staff🌞 can’t wait to come back!

hakuna matata was amazing! simo made it really feel like home and he made everyone feel so welcome, such good vibes, super chill, and the terrace was such a beautiful place to watch the sun set, spend the nights laughing, play some music, or just chilling. Everything was perfect. The owner, Simo, was incredibly welcoming, humble, and genuinely kind. The terrace offers a breathtaking, expansive ocean view, and at night it becomes even more special with a cozy fire, music, and guitar vibes.

Best hostel in Tamraght. Great facilities, location, people and breakfast. Lots of surfspots around, super chill vibe. Highly recommend it.

Loved staying here! The Terrace is beautiful I loved to do my yoga there in the morning. And sitting around the fireplace with everyone in the evening playing the guitar and singing is so much fun. Yummy big breakfast female traveler approved Hot water Free towel

An unforgettable stay at Hakuna Matata Surf House. Simo’s warmth, the laid back vibe, and the perfect atmosphere made it feel like a home I never wanted to leave.

Highly recommended! I'm so greatful that I stayed at Hakuna Matata for almost a week. Simo is the best host you can imagine. He will make sure you feel welcomed, loved and cared around the place and on the same time you have a lot of places for rest and just being by yourself if you want that. The hostel is a beautiful place to connect with others and the nature around (make sure you hike up the hills) To sum up: thank you Simo for this amazing time and that I could bring my art to you

Such a beautiful hostel with lots of space and common areas. The staff were so friendly and accommodating couldn’t recommend this place enough. Will be coming back every time I’m in Tamraght
