great place. a bit hidden and a climb to get to
fantastic
Good hostel really helpful lovely lady at reception
Really nice hostel, staff very welcoming and exactly where you would want to be in the city centre!
Welcoming family run place, Mara makes you feel at home!
It has and absurdly high rating, which sadly is hard to understand. The lady that works there is nice, but doesn't speak any english to begin with. It gathers a weird crowd and completely lacks any atmosphere. The facilities are very mid, not enough toilets or showers, just being 1 shower for the whole place. The bedroom is not comfortable as it doesn't have personal power outlets, curtains, lights, lockers or shelfs. Overall, it has potential, but really need to work on these things for comfort
The guesthouse is very centrally located. The atmosphere is very familiar. The owner is very friendly and has a big heart. It's very clean, and the double room is very spacious. I felt very comfortable and would stay there again.
Great place for holiday trip to Yerevan, perfectly located, with very friendly owners! Definitely recommend!
I spent 5 nights in the Yellow Fox and it was just what I was looking for, you feel like you were visiting your friend's family home not a hostel, great kitchen, very clean and warm (and I was in the cold winter), perfect location, and you get to spend time with a real Armenian people who run the place. Thank you Mara, you're amazing!!
Absolutely fine for a few days of peace in Barcelona, great location but you wouldn't be going here to meet other people!
Great hostel! I felt like at home! The owners are nice and the people I met were fantastic and very interesting!
Very centric and cozy building right in the heart of Yerevan proper. You'll find anything and everything you need at walking distance. Price/value is perfect for cheap stay in an otherwise expensive neighbourhood. The hostel itself could have some minor details tweaked (like improving doors, setting more clear rules, organizing stuff better, bigger and more closets, etc) for it to be absolutely perfect, but otherwise everything else is more than good.
You will be treated as a friend. Mara (owner) is like your favorite aunt or sister. Your comfort is her top priority. The hostel is cleaned constantly. There is a full kitchen and filtered water to refill your water canteen. There are two toilets and one shower (I only had to wait once for the shower in my five days stay). This is accounted for in their low price and you will not receive a better value-per-cost. I will miss Mara!! Much love from California.
Absolutely amazing stay and the owners are so sweet! Great for female travelers particularly
Lovely friendly staff and a very clean hostel. Central location and overall really good value for money. I had a really nice time and I would stay again.
Very nice hostel, great location, comfy beds, air-conditioning, cleanliness - everything was superb. The family that runs the place is really sweet and even though the grandma didn't like us and asked us to leave, because we were packing our things in the night, we would still come again, haha. Recommend for everyone in Yerevan to come and stay - the owners there were incredibly kind to us.
It was a very nice stay, we had a private room and everything was perfect!
Perfect place to stay in Yerevan on a budget. Hostel is owned and operated by a family and they are so nice and helpful. Also one of the cleanest hostel I’ve seen in a long time.
Nice hostel at a great central location. However, there is no A/C in the main dorm and there is one shower for the whole hostel.
Great downtown location close to all the major tourist sights. Run by a super friendly family who are all very enthusiastic about trying to help, despite the language barrier. Big downside is that there is no common area, so not a hostel where you can make friends or socialize.
