Happy Holiday Sintra

I really liked this place, its a beautiful house that has been converted into a hotel, the rooms are spacious and the bed super comfortable, the entire place is very clean including the washrooms. The heating works very well (not always the case in Southern Europe sadly) so I spent a warm night there even if it was cold outside. The kitchen is well equipped, you can prepare all your meals there. Many convenience stores and a small Auchan supermarket 5 minutes by foot. I wished I'd stayed longer!

I had a very disappointing experience. When I arrived, they changed my accommodation to a different location. Even though it was only six blocks away, it was not in the central area I had originally chosen. Since I was traveling alone, it was inconvenient and uncomfortable to go out for dinner at night. The room they gave me faced directly onto the sidewalk, so at times there were people talking right outside my window. On top of that, they didn’t allow me to pay with a credit card.

Absolutely amazing stay. Workers were so kind to us and made us feel extremely welcome!

nice little place in the town centre. in walking distance of everything you’d need. comfy bed, nice room with a tv. good bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. had some trouble on arrival. we arrived a little before check-in, but there is no reception or anywhere to leave bags. couldn’t get into the building and were stood outside for ages. eventually guests came out and let us in. kind cleaning staff had to tell us where to leave bags etc. but overall a lovely stay apart from the communicatio...

Great, easeful stay. My only critique is for the staff to take better care of the bathroom. Of the two full bathrooms, one had a shower drain issue where the water pooled up at your feet and the other had a broken soap dispenser. Otherwise, very clean and easeful, well-stocked kitchen and free washer use.

This was an incredible stay! Everything was perfect, the facilites are beautiful and clean, especially the patio area! I highly recommend staying here!

It felt like no one was there and everything was done through WhatsApp. If you don’t want to interact with anyone and stay in a room close to the train station this place is great. It’s clean, is in a good location, and has good amenities. Otherwise, there isn’t much of a common room or outside space, they don’t accept credit card so you have to bring euros and any questions are only answered over WhatsApp.

Place was well located, just a stone’s throw away from the train station, as well as good eating places. Has a welcoming vibe and is clean and comfortable. Host was accommodating and flexible to our request for slightly earlier check in and to accommodate baggage storage past the check out time. Thank u Happy Sintra for making our stay in Sintra such a wonderful and comfortable one.

Great property, very accessible location and walkable to bus stop, train station and hyper market. The hosts were very friendly and provided many local recommendations. Pristine property and spacious, definitely recommend!

We had booked two nights in this hostel during our backpacking trip. The place was nice looking, however, we were ultimately disappointed. Firstly, upon arrival, we were assigned to the wrong room. While we understand that mistakes can happen, the issue was not addressed or rectified during our stay, which left us feeling a bit overlooked. Additionally, on the first night, we received an email late in the evening informing us that we needed to check out the next morning due to a double bookin...

On a annulé ma réservation, mais sans m'en informée. Lorsque je suis arrivée à l'établissement, j'ai dû appelé parce que personne ne répondait à la porte. On m'a donc dit que ma réservation avait été annulée et qu'on ne pouvait rien m'offrir pour m'aider. J'ai donc dû trouver un autre établissement à la dernière minute. Quand au dépôt effectué lors de la réservation, on ne me l'a jamais remboursé malgré mes demandes pendant 5 jours. J'ai donc dû contacter le service clie...

J'ai eu la chance de séjourner dans une chambre vraiment agréable, avec une vue imprenable sur un limonier juste devant ma fenêtre ! 🌿 C'était un cadre super calme et apaisant. L'atmosphère de l'hostel est très conviviale, et l'emplacement est parfait. En plus, la patronne et la staff sont vraiment gentilles et attentionnées, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus agréable. Je recommande vivement cet endroit ! 👍💖

Super clean and friendly staff members who are easy to contact immediately over WhatsApp. The hostel is close to the train station, maybe just a little too quiet if you’re looking to make some friends.

This hostel is lovely and relatively cheap. It's more like an Airbnb, though - no staff and you are given a code to get in with shortly before check in. Our room was nice and comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen were good and clean. There's a nice little yard with tables and a lemon tree. I recommend it!
