I stayed 2 nights at BigBlue Surf Hostel and had a great experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, perfect for meeting other travelers and enjoying the surf lifestyle. The location is excellent, close to the beach and everything in Taghazout. The team is welcoming and helpful, and the surf sessions are well organized with good equipment. The rooftop terrace is a great place to chill after surf. Clean, social and good vibe overall. I would definitely come back.
De atmosfeer was vrij kil en commercieel. Wel erg leuke gasten en ook was alles goed verzorgd. Locatie was goed en dakterras was erg prettig om te zittwn
Big Blue gebucht. Wurde dann in ein anderes Hostel gebracht, was keine Gäste hatte. Freunde aus dem Big Blue duften mich nicht besuchen. WLAN kostet pro Tag 10€. Lage ist zwar top. Alles andere eher nicht.

Very clean and quiet. Not much to say about the place aside that as the common area wasn’t used that much.
Big blue hostel is way overpriced for what it offers. They make you pay in euro and if you want to pay in Dhrum they use their own exchange rate and card is a 5% surcharge. They also make you pay an extra €20 per person in cash only as a safety deposit for the towels and key, they do not mention this anywhere before booking. Private rooms had no external windows only 1 facing into the shared bathroom area. They try and money Grab at any chance they get. I would not recommend, we did not enjoy ...
If you’re thinking about booking this for its Coworking space, be aware that it is a hefty paid extra, as it doesn’t clearly state this upfront.
This Hostel is such a warm and welcoming place! The team is super friendly and always ready to help, and the atmosphere makes it easy to meet other travelers. The rooftop is the best spot to hang out, great vibes, good food, and beautiful ocean views. The rooms are clean and comfy, and the location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach. I also loved the coworking space with fast internet, which made it easy to combine work and fun. I felt right at home here.
Really amazing hostel! I took the surf lesson for €45 and it was such a great experience, everything was included (lesson, packed lunch, and transport...) and it was super fun from start to finish. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back soon, big thanks to the manager who is such a creative and welcoming person!

The rooms are clean, cozy, and well designed, with everything you need to feel comfortable during your stay. 10/10 out of all the hostels I stayed at in Taghazout this is the best one. I wish I could’ve stayed longer. Will be coming back and telling all my friends to book here. Mary was also very kind sweet and helpful.
Don’t stay here if you want hospitality as virtually has no staff and the ones that are there are not helpful or chatty. We arrived with no one in reception , we also weren’t shown to our rooms and got told nothing about the property. The rooms are small and most dont have windows . The location was the best bit about our stay as it’s right in the centre so you are a short walk from most things. We left our bags in the reception when we checked out but weren’t allowed to use the toilet ...

Zimmer und Hostel war schön. Personal war nicht sonderlich engagiert. Alles an Programm läuft über externen Anbieter und muss online gebucht werden. Coworking Space kostet 10€ pro Tag war zum Beispiel auf Hostelworld nicht ersichtlich war. Für Gäste die nicht das Surf Paket gebucht haben vielleicht nicht das sozialste Hostel.

This hostel advertises itself as a **coworking hostel**, but upon arrival, I was told I had to pay **€10 per day** to use the workspace—something **never mentioned** before booking. Given the already high price, this felt like a s***. The hostel itself is fine, but the lack of transparency left a bad impression. If you’re looking for a **true coworking hostel without hidden fees**, I wouldn’t recommend this one.

So beautiful. Amazing location. Lovely staff. Incredible rooftop. Only thing was the shower doors and the bedroom door handle was broken.
Quiet, clean, and organized. Come here for some nice accommodations and good showers. Not too social or friendly. Rooftop view is dowp.
