Great hostel, rooms were comfortable and the common areas were accomodating. A bit on the quiet side but I think that was more on the time of year I was there. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Absolutely stunning place to stay! Greenery and quietness and peace all around with only birds chirping! A lovely retreat and a haven away from the noisy bustling city! Has anyone feel to it, beautiful outdoor spaces, absolutely lovely staff and a chef who is eager to please with whatever you’d like! Breakfast looked amazing too each day which I never had and instead settled for a lovely late lunch! Private rooms were fabulous! Freundliches Personal, Hostel leider weit außerhalb von Kigali, was die Erreichbarkeit erschwert, sofern man kein Bargeld hat. Eine Vorabinfo in der Beschreibung des Hostels wäre hierbei cool gewesen. Unbedingt Geld vor dem Besuch abheben. Frühstück leider auch sehr teuer. Ansonsten sehr netter und sicherer Aufenthalt.

Great staff, very affordable, great breakfasts with amazing local fruits and food. Bar always open and they make amazing coffee before you head off for the day. Definitely recommend this place.

all around great hostel. location was a bit far for walking but a jumping on a moto makes all very fast and still inexpensive.

Patrick has truly created something special here it was one of the most amazing travel experiences I have ever been. Kigali is now my second home and I plan to return at least once or twice a year now. The only thing I’m focused on now is saving up enough to be able to experience the 7 day Safari and tour experience. Until next time Wakanda oops I meant Rwanda! ☺️

Eu fiquei surpresa com o alto nível de atendimento e beleza deste hostel. Pra vcs terem noção, tem até chefe de cozinha para fazer as refeições ao nosso gosto. Além disto, comprei o tour por Kigali que foi um passeio privativo que me possibilitou gravar inúmeros vídeos para o meu canal no Y.T(pushever), com os pontos turísticos que eu havia selecionado mais os recomendados pelo hostel, com um preço ótimo. Equipe muito solicita, me senti em casa. Quando voltar a Kigali, volto aqui!

Had a good stay, kitchen staff and food; amazing

Cool hostel, very nice room and common areas, breakfast/food was good and staff were friendly and helpful. A bit further from the main centre but easy to get to. Only negative was toilet had a bit of a strange smell.

We had an absolutely amazing stay in Yambi hostel. They arranged a very efficient and affordable airport pickup for us. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The room was just beautiful too. The hostel has an amazing garden with birds, butterflies and lovely plants. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. They cook food from scratch and it was incredibe. They also gave us many great recommendations for things to do in Kigali. Great value and wonderful staff. Thank you!

Avoid this place if you're a budget traveler! They forced me to upgrade to a room because of age restrictions on the dorm. I paid a deposit at hostelworld, but they refused to adjust the price for that. Then they converted the USD rate to RWF with a 5.5% markup (he lied that he couldn't charge cards in USD). Worst thing: staff didn't want to offer suggestions about how to get around in Rwanda!! Because they have their own agency only pushing their own overpriced tour ($600/day). Avoid!

Yambi is a great place to stay, I really recommend it to everyone. You will sleep deeply because the bees are comfy, area is traffic free and rooms are cool. The staff there are welcoming and kind. The breakfast is wonderful, with a mix of homemade bread and soups, eggs, fruits and pancakes. The chef makes amazing food and the coffee is top tier! I will definitely visit again

Nunca me habia sentido Discriminado por la edad en ningun lugar del mundo, salvo en Yambi Hostel. Segun una condicion de establecimiento (q esta escrita y medio escondida, la cual ni lei ni siquiera me imagine) personas mayores de 32 años no pueden usar cama en los dorms compartidos, pero la app permite hacer la reserva, al llegar de noche me dijeron que era imposible (estaba vacio el hostel) y me asignaron una habitación 4 veces mas costosa. NO SE DEBERIA OFRECER COMO HOSTEL. Espero no les pa...

This place is so cool! Great design, lobby area w interesting books and cds to peruse, great food and fantastic staff!! They were so helpful in getting me to the bus station and even helping me navigate my way at the bus depot. The room is v well decorated and comfortable. I took so many pictures of the garden seating areas to inspire ideas when I go home. I’m so glad I found out about this place!!

I had a beautiful and clean private room at a rate that is very reasonable for the quality you get. I wanted to book a tour with them, but unfortunately all the tours they offered were terribly expensive. However, I spent some time in their beautiful garden, which was also nice.

Comfortable, peaceful stay close to Kigali.
