I stayed there with my boyfriend for one night. Everything went super easy and the host was really friendly. Days before arriving he asked if we need transit or anything else and also organised our next trip. Thank you!

I know it's off season but we didn't see any other person. There was one staff member we saw as we checked in and out. The room doors and windows seem weak and even broken in places but the worst thing was the bathroom which stank and had a dead cockroach on the floor when we arrived.

The hostel was filthy – beer bottles in the room, dirty floors, unchanged sheets. Staff wasn’t helpful at all. The bathroom was disgusting, smelled like urine and was completely worn down. On top of that, we were overcharged when we arrived - beware. Also, the owner demanded $9 extra when we arrived at the airport for early check-in, even though he had confirmed it weeks before. Overall, a terrible experience. Definitely not recommended.

Bed sheets weren’t the cleanest, cockroaches in the ensuite bathroom

Great Location, Close to everything, Super Clean , AC was working Well, Hot water , chilling areas , fast wifi. Extremely happy with my stay. Staff is very helpful and would go beyond to anything. Highly recommended

every thing was very good. location is close to one of the more pretty beaches. also close to bars and restaurants. the busses of the close by hotel are parking in front what makes it less nice. our only concern is that everything has to be done with the owner. he is a very friendly guy that finds solutions for everything. the 2 people that are working there are less helpfull. when we wanted to store our luggage they wanted money and only because we call the owner we were allowed to leave it

Staff was really helpful, they texted me right after booking, offered airport transfer, which worked well. I was able to check in early, which was great after the flight.I asked like 100 questions during my stay and they were always helpful and patient. The hostel was empty during the day, but the beach is nearby and there’s lots of shops, restaurants, cafes etc. atm is like 1.7km away. The room was pretty clean, a few mosquitoes during the day. Such a good hostel/hotel for when you need to be near the airport. Staff were so lovely to us and even upgraded our room and gave us some advice on the city and getting to the airport ect. Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest and pretty outdated but useable. Be aware that the nearest ATM is a 5 minute tuktuk drive away also!

Wonderful place to stay by the beach, Clean Rooms, 1 min walk to restaurants, Value for Money, felt very safe as a solo traveller

Ik werd ontvangen door een jongen die erg vriendelijk was maar geen engels sprak, de kamer zag er netjes uit maar niet schoon. Ik zag bruine vlekken op kussens en de douche was koud

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The accommodation has a great location - between the beach and a street where you can get everything you need.

Great Clean Place ,Rooms ,washrooms and balcony was very clean, very conveniently located to all restaurants, bars, beach and grocery stores all in 1 mins walk away.. host arranged affordable services for our Safari and whale watching trips , 100% Value for Money, Lots of spaces to hangout and some games too

The landlord is nice, but the cleanliness of the hostel was disappointing

this was a decent stop for my first night in Sri Lanka, the hostel owner set me up with a very cheap Sim card & organised an airport transfer ect. however the rooms are very basic, the power kept cutting out in the middle of the night (so no fan/AC). plus the hostel owner leaves in the evening meaning my night there I had no top sheet/blanket on my bed, no toilet paper & no power from about 5 in the morning and there was no one to go ask for these things as the owner had left for the night

Relaxed quiet place with a great host who is very friendly and supportive with any kind of questions. Located 2min from the beach and with shops, restaurants etc. around the corner. Thanks for the stay!

Great location by the beach and fantastic service from Kushan, extremely helpful and friendly.

Pros: decent location, comfortable bed, had the room to myself Cons: reception wasn’t open the whole time I was there, cold shower, couldn’t get the air conditioner to work (owner said it did work though so could have been me), the non-smoking common room felt like smoke
