Traveller Bunker Hostel 1

I think this is a perfectly good hostel to stay at in Cameron Highlands. It’s clean and has good beds/rooms. The staff were polite but not the friendliest. We would check in for recommendations here and there and they would unenthusiastically give us unhelpful or wrong info

Amazing hostel in a great area in the highlands, lots of restaurants nearby and there is the market a 2 minute walk which is fantastic. The staff do a great job of keeping the hostel clean. There’s a nice relaxed atmosphere, with lots of backpackers who you can socialise with. Also a really nice common area upstairs with a theatre room. Would highly recommend this hostel for anyone wanting to go on hikes as well

Stayed here for a weekend - it done the job. The rooms are very basic however there was no lock on the dormitory rooms which is a little weird sometimes. You did have a locker which was good for locking your stuff away. Shared kitchen area was good to have, and the hostel did have some activities once requested, and booked buses on your behalf. Done the job for a weekend.

Overall a good experience. The sink was leaking on to the floor in our private en-suite, which they couldn’t fix whilst we were there so stuck a bucket under it. The room also stank of cigarettes at times as locals would smoke outside the front of the property and I think it came in through the bathroom fan. The room was clean and the rest of the hostel very clean. Lots of rules, be careful you don’t get fined! Bed not comfortable, but great location! Would stay again.

Pros: very quiet, staff were friendly enough, very good location, felt safe Cons: mattress was dirty (blood stains), bathroom had mould, no full length mirror, bed was uncomfortable, “cafe” was only drinks no food Overall it’s a decent hostel

It was a great location and did a good day trip, didn’t realise that the cost for the Mossy Forest was extra which would have been good to know. Not the most social hostel, but was clean and tidy

decent hostel for a two night stay in the cameron highlands. it was also very easy to book excursions through the hostel

I liked they had a gym so I could do a bit of a workout . The doors were always unlocked, no social atmosphere I found it very boring . And layout to use other bathrooms is bad. Have to go through a 12 bed dorm to get to them. Wouldn’t stay again

Great location and they have day and half day tour options which are a great way to see tea plantations and other great attractions in the area. The hostel itself is quite basic and less community vibes but overall decent.

Sehe gutes Hostel für einen günstigen Preis. Es gab sogar eine kleine Brettspiel-Sammlung mit Catan!

Nichts besonderes & nicht geeignet um neue Leute kennen zu lernen. Die Dusche war im Zimmer direkt über der Toilette! Für 2 Nächte okay

The 6 people dorm wasn’t very clean at all. I had a bottom bunk and no one had cleaned under it or around it in months or ever! The bathroom, everything gets wet when anyone showers and has a bad smell of sewage, not nice to brunch your teeth in. The hotel didn’t have a social feel either, so if you’re hoping to meet fellow travellers it’s hard. I really enjoyed my stay here. very well priced, and i found my dorm was clean and comfortable. although it was very cold at night, with only one thin blanket provided, so i had to put multiple layers on. Great common rooms and cafe area, and good choice of activities that allows you to meet other travellers. I would go back

The hostel is not a bad choice, but there was black mold on the walls in the rooms, it seemed like the door to the dorm on the first floor was open all the time and there was bed bug spray everywhere … whatever that means ;)

die tour, die man übers hostel buchen konnte, war super. generell eine gute Atmosphäre und viel platz um abends zusammenzusitzen. leider hat die dusche in unserem bad nicht funktioniert, das wurde den neuankömmlingen auch nie gesagt, wodurch die es immer versucht haben und das ganze bad inkl. klopapier komplett durchnässt haben. sonst sauber und angenehm

Nice hostel in Cameron Highlands, very social with big and cozy common area, and the staff is cool. Our shower was pretty damaged however, and you can here the road because there is no insulation. A good stay overall but could be improved
