This time the experience was less pleasant than the previous one. Some safety issues with a drunk man knocking on the door late at night forced us to call the Police. Also, the breakfast choice is quite basic and repetitive. The room was fine.

Fijne ervaring

Veel lawaai s'nachts zowel buiten op straat als in het hotel !!!! Waarom geen bedovertrek en hoeslaken geven ipv lakens.... wat een werk om de bedden op te dekken. Het is zo moeilijk dat je de bedden moet verplaatsen om erbij te kunnen.

Personnel peu accueillant, à l'exception du personnel des cuisines, breakfeast sommaire (pas de toaster, omelettes, ), et dans un contexte de bruit intense( accueil de plusieurs dizaines de scolaires), pas de carte d'ostende à fournir aux clients, confort des chambres sommaire (absence de chaises, de drap housse pour la couette, isolation faible,....)

Met een uitzondering wat ongeïnteresseerd personeel. Bed voelt wel heel plastic. Tip voor stopcontact naast het bed

Our room was very cold and full of dust and we could't open the window.

My fellow travellers and I had the best time! We never knew what to expect having never stayed in a hostel before, but what a pleasant experience. Great room, good facilities, secure and clean and a good breakfast to! Would recommend you to anybody and we can’t wait to come again. Good job Flanders team! 🤣

Sehr rudimentäre ausstattung. Keine steckdosen bei den betten, nur an einer wand, keine Handseife. Dusche sehr einfach, unpraktisch da überall wasser hinfliesst. In jeder ecke Überwachungskameras, welche piepen wenn sie aktiviert werden. Atmosphäre sehr ungemütlich. Lage aber sehr schön & Frühstücksbüffet sehr ausreichend

Agréable lieu

Fantastisch gelegen hostel in de Langestraat in Oostende, op wandelafstand van vele leuke barretjes en restaurants. (Ook op wandelafstand van die grote plas water.) Inchecken verliep moeiteloos, kort maar krachtige uitleg met alle nodige info. Het hostel heeft een barretje met democratisch geprijsde dranken. Een grote plus is de beveiligde fietsenparking. Je hebt een badge nodig om er binnen te geraken en er hangen haken met lussen om je fiets aan te bevestigen/beveiligen. Dikke aanrader!

A very good place to be for a trip about 4 days. Breakfast is very good. A lot of pubs not far away from the hostel and the sea is about 5 min from the hostel.

The shower flooded the floor in the toilet whatever we did with the curtain and could not sweep it away. Otherwise excellent stay

really good atmosphere, relly kind people. there were some problems with the lights in a room.

Lack of security allowed spare beds to be used by non-paying youngsters, and others to lock themselves in the shower room and sleep there overnight, and then take breakfast without paying. Staff were unwilling to tackle the issue and did absolutely nothing, and it appeared this lack of any responsibility was their normal way of dealing with any issue or complaint. It would be irresponsible to allow any young travellers to stay at this hostel.
