Athens Quinta

Cool vibe, ok location, but they have abysmal bed bugs, no air conditioning, and rarely any staff onsite. I found and killed three bed bugs in my bed, and was covered in bites within 10 minutes. Emailed the staff as there was no one in the building (10:30pm), and still have received no response. Shameful apathy to such an appalling hygiene issue. BEWARE: Bed Bugs!! Athens Quinta is a really quaint hostel, located just outside the city center. It's in an area that was safe, though looked a little rough. The building is a lovely little house with a nice patio and bohemian aesthetic. My and my friend had a private room with two beds. BED BUGS!!!!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE! I woke up to bed bugs on the bed, I got bitten, they got in my bag and clothes. When I told the staff the cleaning lady changed the sheets. No action was taken to get rid of the bugs. There are reviews from as far back as last year about bed bugs and they have clearly done nothing to fix the issue. The staff didn't seem to care and refused to give me a refund. They say they do a disinfection every two weeks but that won't get rid of bed bugs! Horrible place, BE...

We left with bed bugs :/ we did not read the reviews and now have to clean all of our stuff. Besides that it was a quiet place. The WIFI was not good either. Hosts were really nice and they gave us a magnet for our stay!

Excellent place, the building is a beautiful old neoclassical with high ceilings and big windows. Location is perfect, right where you want to be. And the staff are amazing :)

Very friendly and helpfull staff, and i enjoyed the atmosphere very much.

It is a good place and quiet building in sense of bars around , clean all the time and kind assistance. Only thing is the wood floor and lock door a bit noisy when you walk inclusive if your tried to be quiet impossible hehehe but is what it is .

The breakfast was lacking, the showers could use holders for the hoses, but otherwise it was all good! The first staff lady was really nice. I met someone really cool so it was overall an amazing experience. I love the patio and I was able to get peaceful sleep. Love it!!!!

The Quinta hostel was a good place to spend our last few days in Athens. The atmosphere was quiet, the breakfast was good, and the location was close to the National Archaeological Museum so it was easy to navigate. However, after coming home, we realized that one of us, not all of us, had bed bug bites. So, the cleanliness got a low star rating. The rest was good for the price.

We stayed at the hostel on May 10, there were BED BUGS in our room ( 6 bed mixed dorm), we had a terribly night. The location is nice.

I stayed here for 3 nights, most of the time I really liked staying here. But, on the last day, I was gone all day to go to an island. When I returned at about 9:00 at night, I went into the room to find a sleeping man in my bed. All of my things had been moved and put all over the room. Like not even all my stuff in one bed. When I asked around the next day, I found out that the other room had bedbugs in it. So, they had moved the man into my room. But I was staying another night, so I have abs...

The place is very nice and pretty. Unfortunately we had bed bugs, but the employees gave us the money back for the night we didn’t stay there anymore. There were also dead bed bugs on the floor… Breakfast is okay, but for the price it's good. The location is very lovely, there are a lot of cafes and bars!

Do not go here if you don't like bedbugs.

The location is within walking distance (or a short bus ride) from all the Athens attractions, though some parts of the walk feel a bit sketchy. The wifi at the hostel was weak, but everything else was wonderful!

The most cozy hostel I have stayed in in Athens and I have stayed in many. The court yard is fantastic and cozy. Only downsides are that there is no cooking facilities and the free breakfast is to say the least the worst I have experienced. Not even decent fresh bread.

it was an awesome stay but unfortunately they do have bed bucks... if you stay there be carefully with your lagguage when u come back home

terrible customer service. rude staff..i booked at 9 p.m andicouldn't enter. they never replied to my calls on their mobile. i accidentally entered when a guest went out of the house. i slept and the next day noone called me back. i called again and one girl was extremely rude to me. never again.

Todo muy bien. Solo no le doy 5 por el tema de seguridad. Por la noche no existe personal para alguna emergencia o situación que se pueda presentar. Debería hospedarse personal dentro del hostal para estar al pendiente.
