The people who work here truly made my trip. G the receptionist is a legend , all the team are kind and accommodating. Just truly lovely. Kareoke is so fun, filtered water, cozy beds, perfect location, perfect price. I’ll forever remember my stay at Fantastic BnB. Truly feel like part of the family when you leave. Thanks so much guys!
The staff is super nice!! Big bed, but just a tin blanket to cover. good location in the main street close from the harbour. Not the most clean
So friendly staff! Always helpful and fun! The location is amazing and they do kareoke every other night! Lovely hostel! I extended my stay from 2 nights to 4=))
Originally booked into the dorm upstairs, it was very open to the elements and there were mosquito nets over the beds however they did not zip shut and were full of holes! I paid 20k extra to move to the ac room however the ac barely worked! Aside from this it was a really friendly hostel, the breakfast was great and the evening karaoke was so much fun!
We had booked a female dorm but were shown to a mixed dorm (not a big issue for us, but definitely a concern for solo female travellers). Dorms were pretty basic with no privacy curtains or bedside lights. No locks on the door. Bathroom and shower not in the best condition. Wouldn’t stay more than one night comfortably. The breakfast was good.

Gute Lage direkt am Hafen, sehr nettes Personal und eine süße Bar/Warung
Super Hostel direkt am Hafen gelegen, alles wichtige ist fußläufig. Man kann sich Fahrräder ausleihen, das Frühstück ist auch (im Bergleich zu anderen Hostels wo es nur Toast gibt) sehr üppig. Am Hostel angeschlossen ist direkt ein Warung mit sehr billigem und super leckerem Essen. Der Transfer nach Kuta Lombok wurde auch komplett vom Hostel organisiert und war dabei trotzdem noch sehr billig. Außerdem ist es sehr leicht hier Leute kennenzulernen. Große Empfehlung
Honestly this was a very good hostel. Nothing special but good basic facilities (water refill!) and a nice breakfast. Really close to the harbour and shops etc.
We LOVED this hostel! So social! Free breakfast, yummy pancakes. Free yoga!! The room was really comfortable and nice bathroom. The staff were amazing, so friendly and warm. Fabulous location and very pretty!!
Very nice staff and close to the port, but the rooms are not the cleanest, saw cockroaches, and the area just isn’t very nice. Didn’t try the breakfast though. Personally value clean toilets high, but if you’re not afraid of cockroaches than the hostel is friendly.
The staff were so kind and went out of their way to help us. They insisted on giving me lifts to places to save me money when I injured my knee so I didn’t have to rent an electric bike. They got up an hour early to make us breakfast before going diving and they arranged a boat trip and 2 hour shuttle door to door to Lombok for 170k! Lovely vibes and kind people
De werknemers zijn niet onvriendelijk maar ook niet heel uitnodigend. Ondanks dat de kamer maar net nieuw was was de ensuite badkamer toch niet super proper, ook niet heel vuil. Zeker de gemeenschappelijke badkamer was niet aan te raden. Na het uitchecken liet ik mijn tas in hun 'bagage opslag' waar geen controle over was en iedereen kon hem meenemen. Het ontbijt was echt super en zalige mensen die er verbleven.
I really enjoyed my stay at fantastic air bnb and extended for two more nights. If you are looking for a lowbudget and authentic local family run alternative to super fancy touri resorts, this is your place. Simple but very nice, cozy, and super lovely helpful staff! Nothing too fancy, but everything you need, good breakky, nice chill area. And everything is in walking and bike distance anyway if you wanna go for a swim at the beach or enjoy Gili airs fancy places
Je ne recommande malheureusement pas cet hostel Même si la localisation est bien, ce n’est pas très propre, impossible de locker ses affaires dans un casier, pas possible de fermer la chambre, je me suis retrouvée dans un « dortoir » à 2 avec un homme que je ne connaissais pas (sans rideau) alors que je n’ai jamais demandé ça
Great location and cheap, but they could at least offer proper beds: I just had a mattress on the floor, like camping.
I had a great stay, it has everything you need. Not the most social but easy to meet people at breakfast and they had karaoke on Monday. The bathroom smelled really bad due to the water in the shower but other than that can’t complain! Free breakfast was really yummy too
Most basic basic hostel. We had no a/c, just fans, mattresses on the floor, bamboo house close to the street let's in lots of light and all sounds, and the shower is just sea water. The staff were nice, and the other guests were good too! The breakfast was decent.
Good atmosphere and close to the harbour! I didnt socialise when i went there but i definitely got on with my room well!
Best hostel in Gili air. Close to the harbour.
