Ricky's hostel is really great. He takes really good care of you, helps you plan tours, and is super supportive of whatever plans you have 😊. The hostel itself is also really well-equipped and has a beautiful garden with a view of the mountains.
Ricky est une personne très accueillante, qui sera toujours prêt à vous aider ! Le logement comporte un super jardin avec une petite cuisine et des tables dehors pour se poser. C'est très calme et apaisant. J'ai passé un super séjour dans cet Hostel, je recommande vivement !
Genuinely the best hostel I've ever stayed in.The host was incredible and helped us book all of our tours super easy, quickly and stress free, and the rooms are comfy and spacious with comfortable beds. the bathroom is great and it has a good pressured shower. the kitchen is well equipped and plenty of room to cook!
Ricky is such a great host and made my stay really memorable. He offers breakfast and an evening meal, he has a great garden to chill in, and 2 dogs and a cat - all of which are very affectionate! The hostel is new and developing, but the dorm bed was very comfy and the WiFi fast. Thanks Ricky!
Nous avons passé quelques jours chez Ricky et ce fut un agréable séjour ! Merci beaucoup Ricky d’avoir été patient avec notre espagnol, de nous avoir préparé le maté de coca pour réduire notre mal de l’altitude et d’avoir été aussi généreux et gentil ! :)
Un super séjour chez Ricky ! L’hostel est très agréable, il y a beaucoup d’espace, à l’extérieur, dans les chambres et dortoires également ! Nous avons partagé des supers moments et bien rigolé. Il nous a conseillé pour les randonnées, les endroits où manger … ! Nous recommandons à 100% cet Hostel !!
Ricky is the most upbeat hostel host I have met. He goes all out to provide the best customer service possible. The lawn and garden are very large and attractive. Ricky has 2 adorable dogs and a sociable cat. The walk uphill is significant and the dormitory wall is right up against a fairly busy street. (dogs and motos )
Mi estancia con Ricky fue estupendo. Es un dueño muy simpático y ayuda con todos tus preguntas y cosas. Estuve 2 noches en el dormitorio y 1 noche en una habitación privada que era grande. Las camas eran comodas y los baños ensuite. La habitación privada tiene balcón. El jardin es grande con muchas plantas. La cocina tiene todo que necesitas. Hay dos perros y un gato encantadores. A mi me gusta este lugar y si vaya a volver otra vez a Caraz, voy a quedarme aqui de nuevo. Muchas gracias.
Ricky est un hôte super accueillant et vraiment adorable. On s’y sent comme à la maison. C’est également un très bon cuisinier. Les animaux sont absolument adorables. Ça a été difficile de partir.
Had an amazing stay at La Casa de Ricky! He is really friendly & does everything to make you feel at home ! He is also an excellent cook :) Also there’s a lovely garden and 2 dogs + 1 cat adorables !!
La Casa de Ricky is everything you’d hope for in a hostel. The rooms are spacious and spotless, the beds are super comfortable, the bathrooms have plenty of hot water, and the terrace is a hidden gem in Caraz. Ricky managed to make me really feel at home.

La casa de Ricky es un verdadero hogar. A parte de las comodidades (cama cómoda, ducha muy caliente, cocina para uso personal y posibilidad de desayuno riquísimo) lo mejor es compartir con Ricky y su ilusión por este proyecto que acaba de empezar pero que tendrá muuucho recorrido brillante! súper recomendado!!!!
Staying with Ricky was an absolute highlight of my trip. He’s an exceptional host, thoughtful, kind, and always ready to help with a smile. The place itself is super comfortable, with hot showers and everything you need to feel at ease. The meals were amazing, breakfasts and tasty dinners. let’s not forget his two playful dogs and the sweetest, snuggliest cat. This felt more like staying with a friend than just a place to sleep. I’d come back in a heartbeat !
Had such an amazing time at Casa de Ricky. The breakfast is amazing, the beds are comfortable and Ricky is the best host you can imagine. Always ready to make your stay more comfortable and will go out of his ways to make you happy. Highly recommend staying!
Estuvimos tan a gusto con Ricky en su casa que ampliamos varias noches más. Compartimos charlas y risas y nos trató excelentemente. La habitación con balcón es muy espaciosa y acogedora, y el agua de la ducha sale muy caliente!. Los desayunos en la jardín son un lujo ;)
Établissement idéalement situé pour les treks à la journée. Ricky est adorable : il vous fera vous sentir comme chez vous. Un vrai havre de paix. Pour toute question ou besoin, il sera toujours disponible pour vous aider. L’endroit est neuf, propre, et parfaitement entretenu.
Je recommande à 100%. J’ai passé deux nuits la bas avec une amie, Ricky était au top, on a mangé tous ensemble, on a passé la soirée à discuter, rigoler… honnêtement c’était vraiment super ! Il vient d’ouvrir son auberge, alors si on peut le soutenir c’est top 😊 Merci encore pour ce séjour Ricky !
Pasé dos días en casa de Ricky. Fue un placer estar en su casa. Ricky está lleno de energía y está muy presente con nosotros. La habitación es agradable y limpia. Pasamos dos noches geniales juntos rodeados de sus perros y con una comida deliciosa. Lo recomiendo al 100%.
I had an amazing stay at la casa de Ricky and would 100% recommend. I booked for one night but ended up staying three. The 4 bed room is spacious with very comfortable beds, lockers and hot shower. The place is really pretty with a big and beautiful garden. Ricky was super friendly and helpful, he would wake up especially to make me breakfast before I went hiking. He has two friendly dogs and a very cute cat. Truly the best place I've stayed in whole Peru !
