Woodland Beach Resort

Room was large and clean, if a bit dated. Beachfront with a beautiful view and big pool. The pool appeared to be used as a children’s party destination nearly every day we were there which gave the feel of a community swimming pool rather than a resort. At points we couldn’t even really use it as it was so busy with people who didn’t even stay at the resort.

Die Dusche hat nicht wirklich funktioniert und die Toilette war auch defekt. Die Türe konnte man kaum schliessen und das Zimmer wie auch das Hotel waren komplett runtergekommen. Die ganze Nacht haben dir Philippinische Gäste lärm gemacht, trotz Hinweis der Ruhe, das Hotel Personal hat dies jedoch wenig interessiert. Das Personal war nicht verständnisvoll und meinte schade das sie dies so empfinden ohne eine Lösung zu suchen. Definitiv kein Ort zum übernachten.

Overall the resort is in a great location for the main attraction of Donsol - whale sharks! The staff were also lovely and friendly and the food was good. However, the room was very dated and the air con was very loud. The bathroom also smelt awful after the first day.

Los dueños son muy amables, la habitación bastante sucia, las sábanas sucias y el baño más de lo mismo. Hace bastante calor independientemente de que hay ventiladores. La localización está bien, al lado de la playa. Podrían mejorar el estado de las habitaciones aunque sea solo con la limpieza. Nosotras nos fuimos antes de tiempo y cambiamos de hotel

Super nice place to stay! Close to all amenities in Donsol, the beach, nice restaurant and value for money. Would highly recommend :)

Really nice place, very quiet, little bit far from the town but 5 mins walk to diving and whale sharks expedition centre! Very nice and helpful staff. Tiny shop with water and essentials cross the street. Nice restaurant, good food and not too pricey!

Optei pelo Quarto com 3 camas, havia apenas 2 ventiladores(1 ventilava bem o outro quase nada. Fora do quarto sempre estava mais fresco doque dentro, mesmo com os 2 ventiladores ligados. Ainda bem q estava só eu no quarto. Todas as refeições que fiz lá estavam bem gostosas ( café da manhã, almoço e jantar) Optei por esse hotel por ser bem próximo do “whaleshark adventure&tours” (2’ andando) Todos super simpáticos e atenciosos. So they do not have wifi or aircon, which can be difficult especially at night. However the location is amazing so it’s worth it

First of all Woodland resort and Vitton resort are two different resorts (5 min walking), so this is feedback is about Woodland Resort only: relaxed, calm place close to the whale shark center; there is no wi-fi, but you can use the wi-fi when you go to vitton resort. The resort itself has a restaurant and there a few food options in walking distance; however walking to town would be too far, so you need to take a trike (which wasn’t too expensive); only cash possible. Bathrooms quite basic.

Mediocre, gone glory

Booked for 1 night and ended up staying 3 nights. Great location, just walk out of ur room and u see the beach. Walking distance ~5mins to whale shark interaction center. Not much food options around though except for the convenience store opposite. Super friendly staff and felt like home with the staff.

Simple but clean

Woodland resort & Vitton zijn twee verschillende resorts. Dit is niet uit de foto’s te halen deze foto’s zijn met name gebaseerd op Vitton. Dus het was wel een verrassing om de kwaliteit van de accommodatie te zien en ervaren bij aankomst ‘s avonds op woodland. We konden door het tijdstip van aankomst niets meer regelen en hebben er moeten slapen tot onze grote ergernis. De volgende dag alles ingepakt en verhuisd naar Vitton na discussie met de receptie en eigenaar. Vitton is beter

Die Anlage war etwas heruntergekommen und die Sauberkeit war nicht die beste. Wir waren zu dem Zeitpunkt die einzigen Gäste und für uns wurde extra das Restaurant geöffnet. Richtig lieb und sehr zu empfehlen. Ist sehr nah an dem Tourismuszentrum gelegen

The staff is really friendly and helpful. The resort is on the beach and has a pool what is nice. But you can see they are struggling after Covid. The restaurant is closed(they send me an email after booking), the buildings look not well maintained and not clean. The room was not clean, also the bed wasn’t clean(stains on the sheets).The bathroom ceiling has mold. I liked the location and had a great time because of my roommate and the bar next door(BARacuda).
