Yeppoon Beachhouse

The hostel itself was nice and clean and the beds were really comfortable, only the staff was really not the friendliest. Unfortunately, there's not much to do in Yeppoon besides visiting Great Keppel Island, but the hostel is great to relax for a few days.

Super friendly staff, nice and clean hostel, toilets separate from rooms. Shops and cafes are like 10 min away walking but we had a car so much more easy. I really liked Yeppoon beachhouse :)

Paid for an air-conditioned room, got a room that had no aircon from 8am-4:30pm. It was mid 30 degrees outside. Too hot to bear (and I was raised in qld without aircon, but there was no effective ventilation to compensate) I had to leave as the heat made me nauseous. No security, walk straight in from the street into your room at any time. Room had an extra person than advertised. FYI accepts families, so children present.

The most perfect hostel - I wish I could have stayed longer! Great location, vibe, comfy beds, free parking, spacious communal areas and views of the ocean. 10/10 recommend

This was by far the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. James and Jackie staff were nice but im not sure they were there all the time. The other members of staff provided no comfort. I stayed with an italian group they were so loud the kitchen is right beside the bedrooms i don’t think I slept for the 10 days i was there. The person staying awake til 3 am drinking making noise should have been kicked out end of. It was by far one of the worst hostel experiences I ever had.

Such a nice place. Clean and organized! Comfy pillow and bed, clean toilet and shower! Nice common area and well equipped kitchen. Good aircon in the mixed dorm

Lovely place and very well designed and well run

WONDERFUL. A beautiful house with single, double beds and dorm rooms. The dorm room was spacious: super large locker, curtain for each bed, and air conditioning. The kitchen areas, kitchen and living room downstairs, a kitchen and living space areas upstairs with a deck were all perfect. The bathroom and shower area super clean and spacious. A deck outside and the house is across the street from the ocean with plenty of parking and close to the restaurants downtown. Highly recommend.

The best hostel in Australia so far!!! They upgraded us to a private room free of charge which was really appreciated. Very clean, very pretty, it feels like we were in a beach house. The only downside is that its 20 minutes walk from the city and bus station, so it was quite heavy with our backpack but we would return anytime.

I loved this hostel. It was set up like a shared house which I loved. There is free parking outside. Towels are included. The bunks were wood so you don't feel the movement from the person above / below you. My only issue was that there was no rail along the top bunks so I was worried I would roll out in the night and it was also tricky coming down the steps with no top rail to hold.

Nicest hostel I have stayed in. The place was spotless, it was such a comfy and relaxed place to be, so many different areas to chill and hang out. The dorm was great, large lockers, light, airy space. Near the beach, close to a cafe and walking distance (along the beach) to the supermarkets. If I could have - I would have spent more time here!

Nice and clean hostel, the only one worth staying at in Yeppoon. Jordan is also a legend!
