good location close to acropolis. got an interesting vibe from the hostel. was told there was no availability or rooms to extend my stay but when i checked hostel world i could have which was weird and a bit inconvenient. Don't think i would return but it was not unstayable

Staying at Dioskouros was great, I absolutely recommend!! Christina at reception was incredibly lovely and helpful. The check in process was easy, rooms and bathrooms were clean, location was really great and felt really safe as well as a solo female traveller.

My stay there was really good, the hostel is in a perfect location for someone that wants to explore athens next to all the important monuments. I slept on a private bed. The bathroom is sheared but it was clean.

Nice hostel and friendly staff!! Had a comfortable stay for 2 nights. Great location, close to the metro and bus X95 from/to the airport`. I would stay at Dioskouros again.

I had a great stay! The staff is super friendly and helpful and the rooms are very clean. Location is great as well!!

We stayed in a private room overlooking the back courtyard. It was clean enough and the check in was easy but we felt it was expensive for what we got. The bed was very uncomfortable and made loud noises every time you even slightly moved. We were also very cold all night because we were given a thin sheet and a small blanket, but there was AC if you came in the summer. The back courtyard seemed nice but we didn’t get the chance to spend time there. The staff were friendly

Great place to stay! Five minute walk from the metro and located in a very lively area. I was only there for one night. The common room seemed like a great place to meet people and has a very homey vibe. Also, there’s a house cat so 10/10

Rude front desk agent. Did not receive email she was insisting I did, and made it a difficult check in, for really no reason. Had no understanding that I booked through Hostelworld app and had only received Hostelworld emails. Very loud. AC turned off all night- and we were unable to change the settings with our remote. You shouldn’t advertise AC for the private rooms if you cannot control.

It was a wonderful place to stay! The room and bed was clean, as well as the communal bathroom. The outside space was lovely to hang out in. I was only in the city for one night, but I would've loved to have stayed longer as the location of the hostel was fantastic! It was very easy to find it coming in on the bus from the airport, and it was simple to get to the city centre :)

We booked this hostel because we were arriving at night and wanted to be in a very safe Neighbourhood. They made it possible for us to check in early and to change room after we found out we had made a mistake while booking. Great place with spacious rooms and good showers.

Had a great time! Only concern was that the front door does not close behind people unless they push it shut, so when people were coming and going with their luggage I noticed 2 separate groups forget to close the door to the street. It's a great area, but still felt less ideal since there is only a receptionist present 10am-10pm.

Price was expensive for what we got. Shower could have done with a deep clean and towels/bedding could do with replacing. Location was good though!!

Dioskouros location is excellent. It is 10-15 mins walk from Acropolis and Plaka. The bathrooms in the rooms are clean and great. Staff were friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the information with directions and after hours check in that was provided in advance of our stay. I especially recommend the bunk bed rooms with bathroom. The air conditioning also worked which was highly valued. Overall great value for cost especially for a family.

Todo bien excepto que las duchas no tenían mampara ni cortina entonces se mojaba todo el baño.

The facilities are very basic. There was no hot water available to make coffee, and no microwave or toaster in the shared kitchen, which made self-catering a bit frustrating. The kitchen setup is not ideal for travelers wanting to prepare even simple meals. The beds were decent, and the rooms clean enough for a short stay, but if you’re looking for comfort or convenience, you might want to consider other options. It’s okay if you just need a place to sleep near the historic sites.
