Really nice hostel, clean and comfy beds. Great location. The guy who let us in was lovely. I think eventually it will be fully remotely managed, every door has a code lock and each guest has a unique code, so feels very secure (sometimes too secure and we got locked out for a little bit!)

Pretty nice place. Not very social due to having no staff or volunteers. First hostel I’ve been to with no staff (fully automated on WhatsApp). It’s very clean and has lockers and a very good security system for the front door. Pretty prime location near Love Lane. I would recommend if you are staying in George Town. Would stay again.

Great location - everything is within a 15 min walk and close to public bus. I wish the toilets were tidied up more frequently. Bed was comfy enough. They provide towels and ear plugs too.

Great location, very clean with nice beds and washing facilities. It’s a perfect hostel if you are looking for a chilled base to explore George Town or if you are a digital nomad.

Very central location and close to many amazing restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Beds were very comfortable and toilets were always clean and functioning well.

There are no on-site staff, aside from the cleaning crew, so if issues arise, you'll need to coordinate with someone remotely via WhatsApp. However, the bathrooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the AC is brutally cold. If these points matter more to you than organized activities, comfortable common areas, or staff to handle the crazy person in the dorm, you'll probably be happy with Pine Muntri.

Good hostel. It’s quite at great location and have small kitchen (toaster, microwave, plates and cups), also free water and coffee. They haven’t formal check-in/check-out procedures, everything is via Whatsapp chat and it very comfortable. Only proposal which i can make, you can make not only a free coffee, but a free tea too, there is people how don’t drink coffee.

Het is er schoon, comfortabel en rustig. Geen party hostel, voor mij dus perfect. Het hostel is wat gehorig doordat het een heel oud huis is. Ik had een goede prijs doordat ik nog in de openingsfase van de hotelkamers was. De kamers zijn war klein. Als ze volgeboekt zijn, is het soms wat proppen. De eigenaar is erg aardig en behulpzaam via WhatsApp. Het hostel is onderdeel van private rooms accommodatie. Het meeste is daardoor zelf check in e.d.
