I had a private room and bathroom and it was spacious and very clean. Bed was also comfy. Staff were very friendly and the location is central. This hostel is quiet and not a party / socialising hostel.

We had a lovely stay, especially due to the very good recommendations of the host!

Quieter place, which was good for me! The room was comfortable and I liked the kitchen.

Mention spéciale à l’hôte, qui parle très bien français. Il nous a énormément conseillé sur les choses à faire à Baños! Très sympa :)

Great location, close to main plaza but quiet. Also close to the farmer's market. Room was comfortable, great place for people who are looking for a quieter option in Baños.

Lovely little guesthouse in Banos, staff are so friendly, small but very serviceable kitchen, very chill/lowkey vibe. Clean and spacious rooms.

I really enjoyed my stay. The building is nice and my room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave me good information about the town and the activities I wanted to do. It was quiet while I was there and there weren't many other guests. I liked using the kitchen and saved money by not eating out as much. I would be happy to stay there again.

Cosy, peaceful, and super welcoming! The hostel was pretty quiet (due to recent landslide, and you know...) so I was the only one there for a bit, but Victor and his family made sure I felt welcomed and cared for! Well equipped kitchen, simple but clean and comfy rooms, and super helpful with advice and recommendations!

Not everybody who stays in hostels are looking for a party! PM is a great hostel, clean, quiet, really nice facility. I’m staying my second week now, even though I only had a one week reservation. Saul has been very accommodating, helpful with advice and suggestions.

Saulo, the owners’ son who regularly manages the hostel, is one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. He has the biggest heart and treated us like family from the moment we arrived. Because of Saulo alone, this hostel was more memorable to us than many others that have fancy amenities like a pool, bar, etc. Princesa Maria is very clean, quiet, in an excellent location in Baños, and can book a variety of activities for you at a great price. Thank you Saulo for such a great stay!

I have stayed in hostels the world over and I have no idea why this place has gotten rave reviews. It was clean. The owner was helpful and kind. But there were some sketchy men in the common areas and we didn’t feel comfortable. The towels provided were the smallest threadbare ones I’d ever seen. The noise from the neighbor dogs and roosters made it impossicle to sleep. The area is off the beaten path but was somewhat neglected. The owner was kind enough to refund us when we left early.

i loved this place. nice and quiet accomodation. verrry relaxed. 4mins walk to the centre. you can book all activities through the hostel. comfortable beds. big rooms. and Salo(spelling) is incredible with his English and was absolutely wonderful for helping me with everything. funny, chilled guy and knowledgable. thank you so much for all your help. was a pleasure staying here

Buenísimo hostel. Uno se siente seguro, son muy amables -> te ayudan con todo y la cocina tiene todo lo que se necesita. Buena ducha -> agua caliente + presión

The place is gold. But the staff are just diamonds!! This place is perfect, if you are looking for a place to rest, not wild and good vibe, this is for you. The wifi is good, I even had work meetings without issues and the staff wow, always willing to help and give the best advices. I loved how they treated us and so flexible about everything (To make sure we are having a nice time in Baños). But the best best best part of the Hostal is, "Canela", the lovely dog that is always checking around :...

Such a welcoming hostel. It has the cutest vibes and is very well taken care of. It is very clean and the shared kitchen is awesome to make your own meals. Family who owns it can help you with whatever questions you have.
