A Cozy Place Penang

This place was amazing, the toilets were always clean, air con stayed on 24/7, you have your own room, bed and sheets were very comfy, although staff are not present they reply within seconds. The location is a 5 minute walk from George Town overall definitely worth it highly recommend.

Lovely spot in a fantastic location! so close to all the best places in Georgetown. Out private room was small but comfortable and the shared spaces were lovely and clean.

Really enjoyed our stay, rooms were clean and supplied slippers to walk around in. Bathrooms had everything we needed. It is more like a hotel so didn’t see many other people (which was good for us as we wanted somewhere chill to stay), but if you are looking to meet people maybe look at other hostels. Lots of little sofas and a rooftop terrace which are nice to sit at, would highly recommend to anyone wanting a chill stay in Georgetown!

No staff on-site with shared bathroom located on ground floor with room on first. Nice hot showers.

The only real problem for us being the shared bathroom being at the other end of the building on a different floor, we expected the shared bathroom to be on the same floor.

Average enough place. No atmosphere at all. Facilities are basic but not bad. Location is great. Would be a good place to stay for a couple / group. Not good for solo travellers.

Its more like a hotel, because there are only single rooms. There is no staff present and there is no common room. So good if you want to relax, but definetly a "no" if you want the social aspect if a hostel.

Great location and very convenient. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen area were also great, nice minimal design. The check in experience was self-check in which was very convenient

It feels more like a hotel since you have your own room - I really enjoyed my own space in between of more social hostels. The location is great.

I loved it here. The owner and staff are extremely nice and helpful. The atmosphere is very social and it was easy to meet people. They also have events like going to the night market together or playing board games. The location is right in the center and all the central sightseeing spots are close by. Highly recommended

You get what you pay for. Lack of facilities other than a kettle and water dispenser. Paid extra for a room with a window but didn't realise the window would be open to the outdoor (wooden shutters with gaps- no glass) - meant that there was no soundproofing to the balcony and kitchen downstairs and had issues with bugs coming through.

Ce n'est pas tout à fait une auberge de jeunesse car les gens se croisent mais ne se parlent pas faute de pièce commune à toute l' AJ et surtout de l' absence bureau physique d'accueil et d'animation de l' AJ. La localisation est super, idéale pour découvrir à pied le centre de George Town. Les chambres et les locaux en commun sont très propres , le gardien/homme de ménage est le seul personnel qu'on croise et il est très aimable. Les responsables de l' AJ sont joignables par message Wh...

Als je op zoek bent naar een betaalbare slaapplek om echt tot rust te komen is dit waar je moet zijn. Meer is het alleen ook niet.

Chill, clean, great location. Would go again if I went back to George Town
