Unfreundlicher arroganter Manager, der vielleicht von früheren Leistungen profitiert, aber alles verkommen lässt und emails ignoriert. Hauptsache ist, die Leute zahlen! Nettes Personal, Küche miserabel ausgestattet, 5 von 8 angebotenen rostigen Kochplatten kaputt, Mikrowelle kaputt, keine ordentliche Kochausrüstung auszuborgen. Für diese Leistungen überteuert.

Great location but not worth the money. Better off getting another friend or two and booking an air bnb. Couldnt lock the door from the inside as the door was just a padlock. Place need to do some investment in upkeep though I suspect they are still recovering financially from cyclone jasper.

The restaurant is cool and the place is great, but the rooms really smell like mold, and in one of them we found a blanket covered in menstrual blood... It was really disgusting. They were kind enough to give us a new blanket and invite us to dinner as compensation, but the rooms really need improvement. The restaurant is good, and the shared bathrooms are good too.

I checked the mattress and found clear bed bug spots. I asked for a refund as I didn’t feel comfortable staying there. The manager refused, claiming he “was just the manager” and therefore couldn’t do anything. Ridiculous. He then told me they get lots of people making excuses to get their money back because they get bored in the area. If so many people are leaving, maybe it’s not boredom, maybe it’s the dirty, dingy, disgusting rooms and the rude service. Don’t water your money

I thought it was a mellow place to stay while in the are. I would definitely recommend while you’re up that way, especially for the price. Had a great location to a couple board walks.

If this place had security lockers it would be absolutely top drawer value for money. However, there are no security and doors with a key that don’t lock themselves behind you. I think security lockers should be a basic fundamental of any hostel. Otherwise the location is excellent, the staff were friendly, the bar is a great place to socialise and you wake up in paradise.

Super peaceful and quiet; if you want to be somewhere calm in nature than it is perfect for that :)

Great place in a beautiful location, set among the trees close to the beach. Staff were nice and accomodating. Reasonably clean bathrooms, comfy beds with clean linen provided. BYO kitchen utensils and serving dishes and cutlery for the shared kitchen. Delicious steak from the bistro! Great value for money.

het enige fijne aan deze accommodatie was dat het bed lekker lag en de locatie goed is om mooie wandelingen vanuit te maken. verder is de stroom minimaal 6x uitgevallen, zijn er geen voorzieningen in de keuken, zag de keuken eruit alsof die minimaal een maand niet was schoongemaakt en de douches waren ook niet schoon. zou er niet nog een keer naar toe gaan.

It is clean and nice. The staff did their job good but didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. Don’t go alone that is gonna be to boring. Mostly families and couples. But beautiful in the middle of the jungle close to a nice boardwalk.

Lodge in a forested area. Great deck to relax, bring bug spray or cover up. Quiet and unique location. Best to have a car but there is a bus service. Really friendly and helpful staff. Good food and pastries to buy. Comfortable beds in down room. Bathroom downstairs shared. Spacious basic kitchen. Enjoyed my stay.

My sister and I won’t be able to enjoy our time in Cap Trib if it was not for the community there! So grateful for everyone who helped out getting us and our rental car out of the jungle safely and making our Christmas so memorable! We’ll be back for sure🦋

Showers and toilets aren’t clean Cabins also aren’t clean and got ants in them

Overall really good! Spacious room w aircon (sheets were clean but there were quite some bugs hanging around), good bathroom facilities, close to quiet beach and closeby supermarket. Swimmingpool for those who like that, kitchen had little facilities though. Nice bar and pool at night!

This place is really in the middle of nowhere so need a car!! Pool tables were great and the swimming pool was nice!!! Only a 5min walk to beach. Rooms were very very basic and kitchen had no kitchen equipment

5 minutes walk to the beach, nice area with a lots of trees, lively atmosphere at the pub at night with a lot of locals and travelers alike. But you can see, it’s busy there. However, kitchen is literally not equipped. Could have been stated more prominently as it makes it hard to cook if you don’t come prepared. Manager very engaged and friendly to help us out. Would stay there again. And Celeste’s espresso martinis are the best. Could drink all night.

Don’t go if you are a solo traveller. Does the job for one night, but won’t need any longer. Good location, but no one locks the rooms. Very remote area, which obviously can’t be helped, but that means there isn’t much of an atmosphere. Would be better if you had a group of you, or were in a couple. Not just for backpackers, families and older people stay here too.
