If you’re thinking about booking this place, let this be your final sign to go for it! It’s such a special place to disconnect, get back to basics and be in nature. The staff were incredibly hospitable which created such a friendly but chilled atmosphere. Great location to explore Cape Tribulation and Daintree Forest from.

This place gives you a proper rainforest experience and it’s exactly like the description - very basic room but very immersive. It was very quiet there, maybe the time of year, but all the staff and guests I met were lovely :)

Dream in the jungle 💛 had an absolutely amazing stay - you can’t get any closer and authentic to the forest then here. Sus made me feel like coming home and being part of the family from second one. Miss this place every day, thank you for a never forgetting holiday!

Lovely place in a very good location. My only complaint is that the doors had no locks but other than that my stay was fabulous. I would definitely rerun in the future!

Great Hostel in the middle of the forest. If you are searching for a place with a soul this is it. As someone who usally can't stay in Hostels because there are too many people in one room with not enogh air I was very happy to have found this place with plenty of air in the room since it is like being outside.

I absolutely loved my stay here. Location is fab and the hosts are super friendly. The food is also excellent.

The setting is spectacular, and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. When I was there they had no guides for the rainforest, which was one of the reasons I went -- but I understand that a fuller service will be operating shortly. Worth checking, if that's your thing.

Very unique hostel wonderful staff, great food and all round enjoyable experience

Lovely staff, clean facilities, relaxing atmosphere. Great home cooked food! The mango chicken was sublime and they even gave me a take away container to finish the big meal the next day.

The bungalows and location were as advertised. Facilities were decent for the location and cleanliness about what you can expect in a jungle. Where this hostel becomes wierd though is that there was NOE ON there!? No other guest and BO STAFF. Didn’t see anyone in the reception our entire stay. I guess it was low season? Also make sure to check that the road is open to cape trib. there is nothing to do around the hostel, we found out the hard way. Could be a cool place if it had guests and sta...

A Night in the Jungle! A very cool, slightly surreal night. Power goes off at 10 so be prepared for that! Not the best kitchen but they do provide food for you until 7pm if needed.

Cool spot in the middle of the Daintree Nat Park! Very serine, relaxing, and calm! Make sure you’re ok with insects and wildlife as it’s in the middle of a rain forest so there’s lots of it all around! Loved it though!

I had an amazing stay here! So much wildlife, and I still felt super safe. The cabins were perfect as they gave the effect of camping without the stress of sleeping outdoors. They had super clean facilities and it was such a nice getaway from the world for a bit. Staff was super helpful and were able to answer all questions we had about the area.

A fantastic stay in a really unique setting! The only downfall was there were no lockers/cabin doors didn’t lock but to be honest everything felt completely secure. Staff were super friendly and had a lot of reccomendations, communal areas were spacious and clean, and there was loads to do! Definitely recommend bringing a car

Amazing place with really great people. Unfortunate that not everyone abided by the peaceful rule after 9pm; several parents not controlling their gang of children’s behaviour meant that no one could enjoy the live music the staff had put on as it was just being shouted over. But the staff, the food, the environment is all great.

An amazing experience of a hostel! Right out in the middle of the forest, expect the odd huntsman in your tent/cabin and lots of nighttime jungle noise! The pool is incredible and the kitchen system was logical. Shame they don’t offer dinner anymore so make sure to bring food. Recommend the night walk and a stunning sunrise at Cow Bay beach!
