Guest House Umikaji

I was an hour early for check in and they were going to charge me to store my bags for One hour so I had to sit there and wait rather than go explore and come back later. I have never had a hostel be so unaccommodating especially in Japan everyone is exceptionally kind. not a very friendly atmosphere. a very steep stairway just to get to the first floor no elevator and many more flights of stairs to the rooms. if you have a big suitcase it's pretty bad.

The only good thing about this hostel is the location. You cannot check in until 4pm and need to pay to store your luggage. The female dorms were dirty. Lots of hair everywhere in the bathrooms that were not removed during my 4 nights stay. There’s mold everywhere in the bathrooms as well. The furnitures are outdated and the vibe is not social. Lots of old people living there.

Good hostel. Great clean facilities, near the station and grocery store

L’emplacement est idéal pour ceux qui voyagent. Situé à quelques arrêts de l’aéroport avec de nombreux restaurants et commerces autour. Et l’emplacement est juste à côté de l’arrêt préfecture. Le staff a été au top !

Very nice. Good location. Staff was not very open friendly or communicative. Rest was good. Other guests were mainly older people.

The place was nice! No social atmosphere though but the common room was a good spot to hangout. Keep in mind there is not a full kitchen or elevator. The women’s only floor was awesome.

Honestly, the best you can get for the money. Location spot on. facilities are perfect if you just need a base. Felt very safe!

It's a basic hostel - not knew, but well kept. The staff is really helpful, security and location for female travellers are really good. It's great value for money and I enjoyed my stay.

It’s okay to just stay at this hostel. Might be hard to make friends tho.

The location is great, 10 min walk from main strip. The facilities were good and rooms were spacious. I really didn’t like how you have to pay to leave luggage if arrive early. Is also no one there until check-in.

The Hostel is great, me and a friend were staying in a private room. Nothing to say about the place besides the fact that there were absolutely no atmosphere as we were there

Per una notte sola va benissimo, peccato per il poco spazio a disposizione, con armadietti in metallo molto piccoli e situati davanti ai letti, molto facile fare rumore e svegliare tutta la stanza

we really loved the staff and the location was pretty good. it has all the basics that you need and it’s not too expensive. the whole female floor was very nice. however, the walls and curtains are very thin, meaning there is a lot of noice and light coming through. not really the hostels fault, but we didn’t have very respectful roommates so we didn’t have a great sleep.

it was a great location and it was good overall. the room can get quite hot but there is a air conditioner which does work. i did my laundry and someone put food wrapper in my laundry while it was going or im not sure what but it was from a place that i hadn’t eaten at. my laundry was disgusting after however they did pay me back and pay for my next wash which i appreciated. over all i like it and would stay again. pretty clean also and kind staff? you can also rent a bike for super cheap:)

Comfy beds and nice staff but there wasn’t much atmosphere.

Agréablement surprise par le matériel à disposition. Vous vous sentez en sécurité grâce au digicode à l’entrée du dortoir femme. Les lits sont plutôt confortables. Seul bémol ce sont les bruits de parquet la nuit, l’échelle du lit qui grince, les fenêtres pas très bien isolés et bien sur les autres dans la chambre qui ronflent. L’espace commun est très chouette! Je recommande si vous n’avez pas un sommeil léger
